Ranguan, nuguna, have you ever taught things by your parents or if not have you ever walked in to a place called school, at least to get a shelter when it was raining??? I do not think so.
I do not want to give a reply to this after thoughts I changed my mind to inform you & others who are inthis forum
I am A PhD holder my three children two of them Masters & one BSc graduate.My mother was a teacher & father a Govt servant in SL. |

You all Buddhist Sinhalese accept the existence of acste system within Buddhis socoety today.
Similarly, you all must accept that the unacceptable harrasment to Tamils all over the country. |

| Actually that is not totally true. How do you think some of the monks in N-E survive. They are so poor and GOSL do not take care of them. Tamil people give them arms. We do not here these because these are not high profile monks. Very poor only eat every other day. They don't want to leave the temple because they are attahced to the people of those towns whether tamil or sinhala. The problem is only we here about high profile monks of colombo temples. |

| MB, that shows your knowledge about SL and what you know about SL. There are lots of monks who could talk in Tamil and deliver speeches in Tamil. If you get a chance watch SLRC on a poya day to hear Tamil Buddhist monks. |

You dont make sense. Cast system has nothing to do with buddhism. Cast system is stronger in tamil society than Sinhalese society. It is stronger in India than in SL. Let's not mix up the issue. Even catholics in SL practice cast system.

According to the Buddhism, what others says are not important but what you practice and your action will judge who you are, Wasala or God.
You Buddhist Sinhalese are always practice bad, corrpution caste and class system, harrasment, .... all these.
Your Monks sleep with 2-3 women in many cases.
That means all you are Wasala??

Some tamils get toghether and badger Mahabala,then she is sinhala. today she is tamil.
Even catholics in SL practice cast system.
SL caste system is from the muslim world, as far as I know. Some Muslim King began it.

Even guys don't get to sleep with 2-3 women and wonder how monks get that lucky. I want to be a monk! |
