Learning another language is always a knowledge acquisition and learning your fellow country people's language is a boon. I am in fact love to learn Tamil though I am 24 and married I believe I am still young to learn another language besdei the 2 languages I know.

Rick,
I suggest you learn sinhalese and also actually interact and talk with your fellow islanders (i.e. sinhalese. muslims, indian tamils etc.) That will make you less extremist. |

Kamani, I think we (including Rick)mentioned number of times that we are not against Sinhalese we only against Sinhala fundamentalists and state terrorists. In fact you are right some Sinhala families helped Tamils in 1983 (including us)

Doesn't America belong Tamil-Americans? Doesn't Canada belong to Tamil-Canadians? :-)))) Or, are Tamil-Americans SECOND CLASS citizens who do not have equal langauge rights? :-)))
Mister, outside Tamil Nadu, Tamils are migrants. They enjoy due rights as migrant races be it USA or SL.
Look at all of my writing. There is a logic behind it. I could also write like yours, but I keep my standards at very high level. You have shown me your stupidity beyond any doubts, and I have no intention of responding your comments any more.

If sinhalese and tamils got alone, then sri-lanka would be a real paradise to live in....
....what with jack, breadfruit, mangoes, bananas, coconut, rice etc to eat.....
....arrack, toddy, coconut etc to drink....
....mountains, beaches, waterfalls, safari, ancient ruins, rivers etc. for leisure...
....constant tropical weather all round the year.....
....great portugese music (bailar etc.) to dance to and have a party.....
Alas it isn't so far...

I went to East Ham and some Tamil shops are closed, notices say that its in protest for Black July, 83!!
But in barking most tamil shops are open..sensible people!
ah and I suggest some people to check their mail!!
