I have to tell you this story about This British guy who had this beach small resort in Arungambe!! ( i hope i spelt that right) it was called Tsunami resort..This guy lives in Hong Kong and has a boat and comes to my office.
Yesterday he was there and he said after the Tsunami he lost everything and Guess what? he said they gave him US$ 138 as compensation..hahahhaha..he said the corruption is so high..it was a shame!! but since he loves sri lanka and also has a SL GF..he is going to continue the business there!!
so next time we go to sri lanka..we have a beach resort lolz!! Let us Party!! |

Colombo tamils have less of a problem with Sinhalese as they speak Sinhalese well, and some tamils its hard to contrast whether they are tamil for that matter as they speak fluently.
The fact that Colombo Tamils could speak Sinhala did not help them in 1983 when you guys butchered them in the streets. |

I think what Gama Raala is saying is the importance and relevance of learning Sinhalese by the tamils in Sri Lanka
I think you have misunderstood what Gama raala is saying..he is saying in USA the americans do not have to learn Tamil cos there are a few Tamils..similary he is saying in SL the sinhalese do not have to learn Tamil to solve the problem..

Rick,
English is an international language and if Tamils learn Sinhala that can be used only to buy Pol in Wellawata market.
English to World is Sinhalese to Sri Lanka.
The rest of the world do not learn Tamil, you learn English to communicate with them. Likewise, rest of the Sri Lanka does not have to learn Tamil, you have to learn Sinhalese to communicate with them.
French to France, Italian to Italy, Norsk to Norway, Svenska to Sweden. And Sinhalese to Sri Lanka.
Tamils are happy to learn any other language but Sinhalese. That is the hypocrisy. |

Now listen, you cannot blame all the sinhalese for a few thugs who caused mayhem. I know my father and some uncles have helped some tamil uncles to escape while hiding them and we are sinhalese we did that, so how can you say the above comment? Are out of your mind Rick? |
