Hello petijo,
Good morning.
True its a bitter story. However, there are some good stories too where some children are sent to work due to sheer poverty and they are well looked after too.
The alternative may be to starve back in the village or in the plantation lines.

Hi Berty brother thats fine.
However, some indications are that I may be just your age from what I have seen about your conversation on SJC.
I was at Jaffna Hindu and played first XI cricket.
That is what I meant when I said could not beat you in cricket.

Kula brother OMG,
I played against Kugan!! in 1975 when he captained JHC.
yes I spent all my life at SJC and i am still in touch with Patkunarajah (who captained JCC in 1965) and Naguleswaran (who was an exceptional Cricker in 1974-76) same time as mine
Pat is in U.S and Nagul is in NZ.I miss Jaffna very much
This is really wonderful!! 1972--let me think may be Devapalan was the captain at SJC. |
