Ruwani,

you initially said Suresh brought an tamil Adult movie

http://www.lankanewspapers.com/news/2006/7/7585_3.html

you also mentione dRed pavement Movie to which i asked what that means, (i havent got an answer)

Kamani and myself spoke about X rated stuff and left it at that. Bystander picked up your comment and made a valid point to which i agreed.

you also mentioned Suresh was Dark. if i say thala eluhi (i dont know the meaning of this) a tamil wouldnt understand it. I only put that in there since you attach a lot of importance to skin colour. how else would i know it. Suresh is also older than Asantha ! i am like a router. info comes in info leaves out. i add some padding so it doesnt get hurt on its way!

so no travel plans for the weekend.

Act or React ?...

Anyway they should take a serious decision. For that they must give the governance to minorities where they are majority..

But unfortunately if there is no possibility for 'minorities' (in bracket because it is relative to the area) to rule like in India by example (The president is a Muslim and the PM is a Sikh), we will be forced to support the independance..

Persecuted minorities = Separatism

Examples of persecution of minorities resulted in separation or confederation:

Former East Pakistan separated from Pakistan to become Bangladesh for bombing and killing of Bangladeshis. Sri Lanka also aided Pakistan to bomb East Pakistan by offering refuelling facilities to bomber jets.

East Timor separated from Indonesia.
Eritria separated from Ethiopia.
Croatia separated from former Yugoslavia.

Bosnia gained confederation and Kosovo and other states are forming their independent or confederal states.

Good one Sintamus.

After some hesitation and much thinking, India has finally given Sri Lanka its most trenchant message since a peace process began four years ago: Act now, politically, to keep the island nation united.

Sintamus,
What kind of persecution are you uttering about?
Croatia separated from former Yugoslavia

So Croatia became a separate state after so called persecution of minorities in your world??

Your Eelam state is nothing like Croatia, it is more like, or should I say, a carbon copy of Republic of Serb Krajina, that existed in 1990's..

Don't booze out too much after that Indian foreign sec's note. Even a deputy minister in SL is not bothered to reply that cartoon civil servent guy's trivia. He only said something in reply to journalists' questions and it has nothing to do with the Indian government's view. Indian PM is man enough to say anthing, if he really wants.

Jillball,
Iam not really upset, I would say.In most of the sports, movements is the life blood of the game.Of course! there should be talent as well.England was not moving well. When a player moves with the ball towards the opposit gall, there should be enough bodies in the six yards box, ready to receive the cross. But 90% of the time I did not see the white shirts even in the midfield. This is where I admire Brazil and other teams. That was what I admired about the French team in their match against Brazil.English players are over paid and over intimacyed. So they are lazy to move.Look ,how much David Beckham earns a year?13.7 million pounds-the highest earner in sports in the world.
Now Wimbledon Tournament is in progress in UK.The defeding champion,Federer's court movements are astonishing. He is always there, which ever part of the court, when the ball is put by the opponent he is there to return. It is amazing how quickly he moves.Of course,he is good in all the department of the game. You cannot find any weakness in any section of his game .No wonder,he is the No1 tennis player in the world.

Where did you get this figure? He is paid only £5 million a year by the RM. But he earns a quite few bucks from advertising and it went up to £17m last year. However, that figure varies with his popularity.

This is not my world nor yours.

Ruwani asked for examples of persecution = separation, what's wrong withn my answers? Does it bring bad memories of communal riots and pogroms of 1956 - 1983?

Marxist Marshall Tito ruled Yugoslavia until his death. But when Serb nationalist S.Milosevic who in many ways like M Rajapakse came to power and started oppressing and ethnic cleansing other ethnic communities they started demanding separation, but, NATO intervened and arranged either sepaartion or maximum power devolution.

It may not be to your liking, but, that's how the world is getting civilised.
