It is gratifying to note that many innocent Tamils are fleeing from the 'clutches' of the LTTE.
Atleast, I hope after all the Politically made calamities that had befallen Sri Lanka over the past years all those guys in Power would have learnt a lesson by now.Talking what happened in the Past doesn't do any good because many are still living in a 'fantasy world' similar to a FROG. Generally it is
believed that for a Frog, the 'Well' where it dwells is the World. There are many such characters in Sri Lanka as well. |

Martin McGuinness made two important points to ponder yesterday,by the people who are really interested to sort out the mess, the island is in.
One is to have' meaningful negotiations'and the other is'genuine comitments to be made and KEPT'.
Now,if we go back half a century,if the comitment made in the BC pact was kept,as mentioned by Mr McGuinness yesterday, what would be the situation today in the island? In this instance,I would like to draw the attention of what the JVP thug Tilvin Silva said in Kandy, very recently. He said if the BC pact was implemented country need not face the problem it is facing today.
And coming fifty years later, did we have a meaningful negotiations in Geneva in April or did we make 'genuin comitment and keep it'?
I would like a 'meaningful' discussion about it. |

Cobra...Pls. at least for the sake of your own dignity and self-respect ,first try to know what you are writing.
As ML pointed out all the 'lords' you are talking about are female 'goddesses' in the Hindu Pantheon and they are not Male.
And further Cobra...I thought you were a admirer of the Enlightened One..and now... you talking of Lords and gods which does not have a place in what was preached by the Enlightened One. Edited By - MorafiNes - 4 Jul 2006 13:22:36 GMT |

Cobra,
If you are going to expect 28 day cycles over there you are like looking for peace with LTTE....
In other words all the Hindu goddesses are barren?
Since you are an expert on Hindu religion, tell me how they/gods breed...remember, they don't have 28day cycles!

I am not here to Condemn any one.
Jesus speaking (see verse 16), when he says, 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end'
It's mean, all other GODs are 2nd(if you have any) 'thou shall not have any other GOD before me'.
World Wars
Jesus foretold that 'nation would rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.' (Matthew 24:7) In 1914 the world became involved in a war that saw the mobilizing of nations and kingdoms in a way that was different from any war before it. In recognition of that fact, historians at the time called it the Great War. It was the first war of its kind in history, the first world war. Some 20,000,000 soldiers and civilians lost their lives, far more than in any previous war.
World War I marked the beginning of the last days. Jesus said that this and other events would be 'a beginning of pangs of distress.' (Matthew 24:8) That proved true, as World War II was even more deadly, some 50,000,000 soldiers and civilians losing their lives. In this 20th century, well over 100,000,000 people have been killed in wars, more than four times as many as in the previous 400 years put together! What an enormous condemnation of human rule! |

| Jesus included other features that would accompany the last days: 'There will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another pestilences disease epidemics and food shortages.' (Luke 21:11) That well fits events since 1914, as there has been a huge increase in the distresses from such calamities. |

Who Will Survive? Who Will Not?
When God's judgments are executed against this world, who will survive? Who will not? The Bible shows that those who want God's rule will be protected and will survive. Those who do not want God's rule will not be protected but will be destroyed along with Satan's world. |
