The ancient Ceylon was a very advanced civilization.
Its true but they could not sustain it for long...
As a matter of fact they were the first to master the rocket science and traveled many galaxies using this advanced space engineering called the 'Dandu-monara'
Since it seems you are fascinated with this Dandu Monaraya let me tell you a story...
There were more advanced scientists lived in neighboring country....once the Sinhalese king abducted their princess using his Dandu monaraya, Tamil scientists created a cyborg called Hanuaman sent him after the Sinhalese king..he smashed the Dandu monaraya and got the princess back to Tamilnadu...So, the job done....it left Hanuman with no work. To make use of this cyborg Tamil scientists came up with this brilliant idea....they asked Hanuman to relax for a while and when the time is right grab a piece of Sri Lanka....meanwhile the The scientists transfered all their technological wisdom to the Jaffna library...
So, when Hanuman started his war on Punnaku eating Sinhalese politicos some of them got mad and burned down the library...with it went the wisdom of Tamils!!!
And the Hanuman, after waging an unsuccessful war and killing his chief designer in India ended up in a Vanni bunker...
Since Sinhalese now have a new version of Dandu monaraya called Kfir the poor cyborg can't come out of his bunker..
