I dont know about Backham but in Muralis case you are wrong man, the 3 test match series concluded with england Murali has claimed 24 wickets (only in 5 innings). By all means that is a great performance by a married man..
maybe you should start playing cricket, you sound like someone with great batting ability.. :O)

Sri lanka has found another great opening batsman to replace those of yesteryear......... in that Upul Tharanga.
The confidendence gained in himself will add more to his abilities.
A future star.
It was interesting watch this raw talent going stroke for stroke with the master blaster Jayasuriya.
That partnership would have enabled him to accumilate years of experience just within a space of 32 overs.
What a lesson and well learnt.
Will carry future SL batting on his shoulders.
Hope, Kapugedara too will blossom out to strengthen the middle order & that busy body Dilshan ticking the score boards for future SL.
Malinga definitely matured to introduce decipline his bowling and can be entrusted with resposibilty take over the new ball..... Dilhara did put in a lot of effort.
Vass can turn out to be a future batting allrounder for the test with his stout batting.
Mahela was a class act being in best form of his career.
Sangakkara the future captain.
Wonder how SLCricket is going to groom another Wicket Keeper in the near future ?
Arnold looked sadly out of colour & has lost the fire in his belly for cricket.
