There is nothing strange in being an English fan.I have been living in England-Uk for more than 25 years and of course a British citizen.Now you see in this world cup,the the tamils living Europe wants the country they live, to win the cup.That is quite a natural instinct.It is the loyality we are showing for the country which gave us the sanctuaries and life for the tamils in their hour of needs.Is there any thing wrong in it,I don't see any-to be frank. |

I agree that Beckham did not play to his potential- so is the great Ronaldo of Brazil.There was pressure from the Brazilian media to drop Ronaldo.But the Brazilian coach said that Ronaldo was a big game player and played him,but in the big game yesterday he did not produce the goods.Every great players in sports cannot produce their best perfomances in each and every games they play.They also have their lean periods and off days.I can remember the Great Pele,fading away,in his autum days of football.It is awful to watch the great players in their spring days,struggling in their sunset days. |
