When you and me at 2 corners war is not the answer.Warlords won't be blamed if they solve the problem without bringing war around it.I blame the warlords who ignite war between you and me by using our ethnic differences,which is exactly happening in Srilanka.They cannot do it in south,because democratic government controls such issues and establish the peace.LTTE cultivate anger & hatred as a tool to be in power which is ultimate destruction to Tamils.

The part we live in the world belongs to Tamil. This is a Tamil Zone.
After Buddhist Monks came with their Pali Language, Pali and Tamil mixed and Sinhala Language camp up. Only Tamils started to speak Sinhala. There are/were no race such as Sinhala.
Today we speak Sinhala, but our Race is Tamil. That is That.

I have given up posting on these issues as I see a lot of never ending self denials and finger pointing at each other. As you rightly said every single Sri Lankan has to take responsibilty for today's mess. However the reality is that we are very good at pointing fingers and not doing anything about it.
Well said my friend!!. I am of the same view as you. Its no point discussing here or anywhere. Frankly i have lost interest in SL. Both races in my opinion deserve to rot in SL cos they can never look beyond the hole they have dug themselves in. They are only good at berating at each other while the world is moving on. I just visit this site to check the news but now i have given up hope in SL. There are better places in the plannet which allow civilised people to integrate and live in harmony.
Both races deserve each other they are both the pits of this world. I am ashamed to be a sri lankan it doesnt matter whether you are a singhalese or tamil.

I cant believe this , the headline of the article says
'Brilliant Jayasuriya leads Sri Lanka whitewash' , after the first few pages of comments,its again back to the ethnic problem( i should rather say the terrorist problem)......... i thought atleast in cricket we could have a common understanding. |

Gentlemen thanks for your statements.
I am glad there are some there who agree with me. All we achieve in this blame game is no end to an endless war.
Here are some lessons that all the racist biggots can learn from our cricketers.
When we lost the first test match what did we do ?
Our boys fought back drew the 2nd couragously and then won the 3rd. Once they won they never wanted to let go.
Same thing goes for our country too. Its hard to get peace in a war front cos you look back on the past to blame the other person. Did our team blame england or each other ? NO. Each one of them took on the responsibility to change the situation. Same goes in this conflict too. We need to shoulder our responsibilities. We are to be blamed for the politicians we created, the liberators, the terrorist, the bad human rights etc. Why cos we DIRECTLY contributed to it by blaming each other, by letting these people off the hook by not holding them accountable in a democracy.
Otherwise we will be busy going from third to the dumps of this plannet.
BOTH TAMILS AND SINGHALESE ARE TO BE BLAMED!!. IT STARTS WITH ME!!. SO STOP POINTING FINGERS AT OTHERS. EACH CITIZEN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MESS 3 TIMES MORE |

Sinhalese is a mixture of Pali & Tamil.People who speak Sinhalese are Tamils.When Portuguese landed in Western coast SL people who were there spoke Tamil.
