Indian media reject LTTE`s mea culpa as crocodile tears

New Delhi - The Indian media took the Tamil Tigers to task for voicing a half-hearted `deep regret` over former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi`s killing, saying the group was simply not interested in peace.
Editorials in leading newspapers used harsh language against the LTTE, making it clear that no rapprochement was possible between New Delhi and the outlawed outfit.
LTTE ideologue Anton Balasingham told an Indian TV that the Tigers considered the 1991 assassination of Gandhi `a monumental historical tragedy` and urged New Delhi to play a more active role in Sri Lanka`s peace process.
The Hindu newspaper said Mr. Balasingham`s `so-called confession` over the Gandhi killing was `a clever, perhaps over-clever, play` and was meant to soften New Delhi`s `unrelenting hostility, legal and political, towards the LTTE` and to create confusion in the Indian public mind.
`What Mr. Balasingham needs to understand is that this (anti-LTTE) national policy has solid support across the political spectrum, barring some small pro-LTTE parties and elements in Tamil Nadu.`
At the same time, the Age said the Sri Lankan government seemed to be out of its depth in controlling the situation and that `President Mahinda Rajapaksa does not seem to have a clue as to how to combat the growing audacities of the Tamil Tigers`.

How many innocent tamils killed by indian army,how many young girlrs and elderly womans raped and killed by indian solders,how many millions of property belongs to tamils destroyed by indian IPKF in srilanka,who is this man rajiv,is he is son of god?he is the fool who orderd to do all in srilankan tamil areas,when you are comparing with
srilankans tamil lost, rajiv gandhi,s murder is nothing,dont bluff and pretending more ,the time will come other than late rajiv gandhi, others who involved in ipkf will face the trail in haag. |

Bala an ailing Tiger unable to digest further, finally pukes out in public the fur-ball he developed in his stomach by cleaning the dirt from the coat of the Big Tiger, Prabhakaran ,his master for 25 years.
Has Bala got any more trumps in his sleeve? What ever he got , he has shown representing the LTTE, that he and the LTTE goons play a loosing game at the table.
So the big cat Prabhakaran decided to resort to the game he new better Kill , Kill and Kill more .
Whilst Prabhakaran's Schizophrenia was exhibited by his killings His Tamil racism was well articulated through Anton Balasingham all over the world.
Anton Balasingham today had challenged the entire civilized world by making a statement that he the political ideologue of the LTTE a terrorist organization acknowledge that the LTTE which he represents killed Rajiv Gandhi and he too there for a terrorist with impunity.
India should ask the British Government to arrest this terrorist since he is the mouth piece of the Terrorist who ordered assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. |

Yes I fully agree with Magha, India must act with British government to arrest the highest ranked adviser to the LTTE terrorists. Then we can see many more apologies from him.
Bala's so called 'clever'apology seems to be turning into a boomerang within the LTTE terrorists. Balasingham has accepted that Rajiv Gandhi assassination had been committed by tiger organization. However, Daya Master, making a statement the following day, said the organization would not accept the responsibility of the statement made by Balasingham. He reminded that Balasingham together with tiger leader Velupillai Pripaharan on 10.04.2002 denied any involvement of the tiger organization in Rajiv Gandhi assassination at a media meeting of both local and foreign media persons. Both of them had said their organization didn't commit Rajiv Gandhi assassination and it was a fabrication to embarrass their organization. Hence, Daya Master has rejected the statement made by Anton Balasingham.
No doubt that the Bala's apology would be a positive catalyst in the process of self-destruction of the LTTE terrorists.
I would like to ask the LTTE terrorist supporters in this forum that who is correct, Bala or Daya?

Looks like Tigers are not only puking but purging too, especially the one from Australia.
They May need more copies of the CFA to wipe their a...ses.

Racist governments such as Yugoslavia, Iraq, Pakistan, Israel, Sri Lanka, Sudan and Indonea can fool the people for some time.
Yugoslavia has disintegrated.
Pakistan forced East Pakistan to secede and a new nation Bangladesh formed.
Sri Lankan Milosovic Rajapakse is killing Tamils by his army, navy, police and army assisted Tamil paramilitaries.
International community will soon come to know Israel, Sudan and Sri Lanka also have to be dealt in the same way as Yugoslavia to introduce a sense od realism.
There are some Indian and Sri Lankan press owned by media magnets or controlled by powerful vested interests want to promote racism and superiority of certain sections that will not last. Indian Govt is headed by cool headed pesonalities like Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh who will not yield to the pressure. They have already indcated that defence treaty to help the racist MR or supplying him with arms are not on.
Oppression of minorities will not last long. |

| The Brahamin domiated media of India never liked the Tamils whether Indian or Thamileelam tamils.They wanted to dominate and control the tamils,which they couldn't do because of the LTTE.That is why they vehenmently oppose the LTTE.This is another opportunity for them to vent their anger and frustration on the LTTE, which had been a thorn in their flesh for over three decades.Poor sods! |

*sinhala nation has always been an enemy of India throughout the history of two countries.
*Rajive was attacked by Sinhalese while receiving a red carpet welcome in Colombo.
*the investigation of Rajive's assassination should not have stopped with ltte but should have been extended to find out if there is any foreign intels involvements that including Pakistan,Israel and the USA.
*there is no reason for ltte to kill Rajive as because the ipkf left lanka before 1991.
*Rajive was a good man had good intentions to end the conflict between Sinhalese and Tamils in favor of Sinhalese but he did not follow the method of his mother.
*if India is really keen to end the conflict in srilanka and if india wants to behave as a big brother of it's neighbors then of course the government of India must apologize to the Tamils of Ceylon first for the human rights violations committed by the IPKF.if Germany can apologize to the Jews, why the world's biggest democracy cannot behave in a democratic manner?
*India recognized the srilankan government as a terrorist government and helped nourish ltte to counter terrorism in the 80s.
*india's INA was a terrorist org during the British rule led by netaji who is a national hero.
*musharaft of Pakistan is responsible for karkil massacre receiving red carpet welcome into indian soil!
*tamils of ceylon and ltte never crossed indian interests in the last 15 years and will not in future too.
*pondichery in tamilnadu has it's own form of government which does not affect the rest of the country's interest. wounder how on earth the tamileelam affect the whole federal india.
*tamils were never part of sinhala nation and had their own kingdom before the arrival of british.
it is high time the indian leaders put their acts together to find a way to deal with ltte the sole rep of tamils to let us live with peace and dignity!

there is no reason for ltte to kill Rajive as because the ipkf left lanka before 1991.
Balasingham ,the mouth piece of Prabhakaran has clearly said that LTTE killed Rajiv ,and some are still trying hard to cover it up. Are these Tamils brainwashed, brain dead or just stupid? |
