''We emphasized the need to cease all underage recruitment and release all such children,'' UNICEF communications officer Junko Mitani told The Associated Press.

Western countries including Austalia have used the UN's assessment of the Tamil Tigers as a Terrorist group. Given that UNICEF is part of the UN, it has to stay away from the Tigers and merely 'report to those who have influence and/or authority over Tigers. UN cannot have it both ways

So LTTE is a group of 'SAINTS' you mean ???? And who doesn't assess LTTE as a terrorist group ?????

By the way, try the spell checker next time... There is no country as 'Austalia'.... It's just like Imaginary, 'Tamil Elam'

Please don't make us laugh.....please...

Dr Piyal,

This is the problem with those who are driven by technicality / typing. I use the time effectively to share my wisdom. When you do the work to KNOW you would not be so dependent on finding fault with my typing. Talking about spelling - Eelam is the closest English translation and not Elam as you have spelt it. You are throwing stones at a brick house from a glass house.
