Like I said before our politicians are not the smartest bunch. I dont want to whitewash sins they have done. What dollar and kent farms? Are they still there? This is what LTTE did in return.
The LTTE started its ethnic cleansing in 1984. The first Sinhala civilians to be massacred were from two farming villages in Mullaitivu called Kent Farm and Dollar Farm. Except for a few, all the civilians living in these two villages were massacred.
On 30th Nov 1984 a group of heavily armed Tamil Tigers attacked and killed 33 unarmed Civilians at Doller farm and 29 unarmed Civilians. The officials said tigers had scrambled from two buses, spraying submachine-gun and rifle fire and throwing grenades as they herded civilians into buildings and then blew up the buildings.
Little children had been killed by holding them by their legs and banging their little heads against walls. At the scene there were babies with crushed heads, and pieces of brain matter on the walls, right above where these babies lay dead.

i am not going to judge what ltte did there.
but the problem we have is not simple as you told. all tamil politician try their best to come with a settlement with singhala government. but they failed in each attempt. now you can't simply tell that if we talk with government every thing will be alright. |

Tamil made ofiicial language I think in 1987 or around that time. the Q is CAN you get anything DONE in TAMIL even TODAY.

i am very sorry for your lack of knowledge in srilankan ethnic conflict. after all you are a phd student in chemistry.
i can't teach you history dear. go and try to read some papers other than singhala net, lanka page..ect.
enlighten yourself. we can also be able to get light from your head.
