You had more power than SLFP in parliment.
You mean your leaders did not honestly work for you?
do you know on what BASIS tamils voted the TULF in 77.
Yes from the 50's tamil leaders have been taken afor a ride.
BC, DC pacts are good examples. now could the tamil leaders have dont anything different, i dont know / i dont think so maybe since they were a minority in parliament.
SLFP and UNP worked together when the opposition was the TULF. On all other matters UNP and SLFP were against each other. |

The fact I cannot still understand is this.
Before Youths start the fighting, even more than 80% police was Tamils in Jaffna.
All political and regional leaders were from Tamils.
Except university admission criteria, I cannot even think an unfair thing.
Budget component was much better than undeveloped districts of south.
Of course after clash, the situation changed. Most of young generation may even do not know how Tamils enjoy N_E_ and whole country at that time.
Even under LTTE separation, do they have such a freedom throughout whole country? I cannot believe so!
I really cannot understand this motivation TC. You can write and educate whole forum on this little by little. |
