I didn't write to you the last two days because his condition has been the same. I went again this morning to the hospital. I was told that Thanabalan had been discharged from the hospital and waiting to go home this afternoon. Unfortunately he cannot go to Jaffna directly from the hospital because there were no flights because of hartal in Jaffna. This means he is going to their apartment at Ratmalana which is going to cause some problem because they will have to go up two flights of stairways. This was the case as at 11 am this morning.
The plane service is expected to start in a day or two.
While I was in the room with Thanabalan the surgeon came in and gave some instructions to Thanabalan and his son. The doctor wanted him to come back to Colombo and see him after the treatment in Jaffna is completed. Meaning the cancer treatment. This could take about 4 to 5 weeks.
All these days I have been worried if Thanabalan has been told about the nature of the problem he actually has and why he was operated. Nobody knew the answer to this question. So, I followed the doctor out of the room and asked him if he had told the patient about the sickness. He said that he did not tell him because he didn't think there was any point in upsetting the patient when he is in this condition. I told him that my concern is when Thanabalan goes to the Thellipalai hospital for ray treatment he would come to know what it is all about and could come as a shock to him. The doctor thought that it is the responsibility of the family members to inform him. If Thanabalan doesn't have any idea at all it is going to be a major task for the family members. |

I love little Kids..they are so innocent!!I do rem my kids when they were small and i used to keep up during nights just to carry them and walk around!!They are Gods wonderful creation!!..U better enjoy the time your spending with your son!! Make sure he gets the best!!

Kohomba and Nika both very bitter.. so in Sinhala they just say (Kohomba is like Nika)
I am sorry I do not know what kohomba in English neither Nika..

U should be careful with such statements!!
There are a lot of Tamils in SL who does pay the Taxes and the contribute to the defense fund (Compulsory contribution)
To me the GoSL is an enterprise...Terror (Public) Corporation.with all Sinhala expatriates holding shares that does not actually belong to them lolz |
