Dear Mr. Paul,
your comments against the LTTE is look like a favor of the Srilankan Government, how do you evaluate the LTTE is against the Tamil peoples, it's absolutely wrong statement,
if you able to read the real story of LTTE, how did they formed in 1980's, they are forced to make LTTE organizations, the peoples are not born in terrorist, they made to become a terrorist, obviously i am not a Srilankan man, i had chance to interact with srilankan Tamil as well the Sinhalese guys, when i interact many tamilians i found that they suffered lot with the srilankan army as well with the public in early days, will accept the sign boards like 'Tamil meet available here' if anyone hang the against Americans do you say that this is democracy, i have read your comments saying that you didn't get a chance to interact with the Tamil people because you didn't find the Five star hotel in jafnna area? my friend people are not fighting for the 5 star hotel, they are fighting for their wrights and freedom,
the LTTE done a blender mistake like assassination Mr. Rajiv Gandhi,
during that time Indian government suspects the American CIA involvement of this assassination,
first of all like you guys only making the problems every were complicated, like early stage Al Quida developed by Americans, not other Asian countries,
such kind stupid reports you guys prepared for your own interest it will make more conflicts between the peoples,
find a merits and demerits LTTE, i am not supporting any terrorist group, which harm to the innocent people, if you have chance try to visit India and interview with those migrated from Srilakna due to this conflicts, you find the real face of Slinking army, what they do with the Tamil public,
i am sorry your statement 100% favor to someone you really like, this is not a freedom of press, you try to learn from Indian media peoples they will teach you how to address the problems with freedom and democracy, |

Just an observation:
Not a single person who showed contempt for the Mr. Pauls speech gave any valid reason to refute his claims. He did say he was biased and he did say that he despises all who use terrorism to further ANY kind of goal.
Tamils have to identify what is really descrimination. NOT A SINGLE SINGHALESE CAN STAY IN LTTE AREAS WHILE THE MAJORITY OF THE SL TAMILS ARE LIVING IN SINGHALA MAJORITY AREAS!
The more you justify terrorism, whether it is American, Israeli, Palastinian, Al Qieda, Hamas, IRA or LTTE, the more you have to suppress a part of you that makes you a human!
All races pride themselves & have strong sentiments regarding their own. LTTE is grossly misusing these sympethetic feelings of all Tamils in the world to collect funds and oppress all Tamils living UNDER them.
As a Singhalese who have lived with many Tamils in SL & overseas, I know that They are under the impression that the majority of Singhalese try to oppress the Tamils. Lets get together to show the real face of LTTE with these kind of well informed & independent observations at the same time showing that we don't discriminate Tamils.
TO ALL TAMILS:
PLS DON'T BLAME A WHOLE COUNTRY FOR THE ACTIONS OF A FEW! PLS DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN POLITICS, MILITARY ACTIONS & DON'T RELATE THEM TO THE MAJORITY SINGHALESE. AT LEAST TRY TO SEE THE SOME GOOD IN SINGHALESE BY CONTRASTING SL WITH INDIA, MALAYSIA & MANY OTHER COUNTRIES WHERE DISCRIMINATION IS WHAT IT IS! IF SINGHALESE STOP PATRONAGE OF TAMIL RESTAURANTS, JEWELERY SHOPS OR ANY BUSINESS THEN CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN? HOW CAN COLOMBO HAS ALMOST 50% TAMIL POPULATION IF THERE IS WIDESPREAD DISCRIMINATION? IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR FELLOW TAMIL LIVING IN SL TO BECOME A SLAVE OF A PACIFIST REGIME, PLS RECONSIDER GIVING A CENT EVEN TO LTTE EXTORTIONISTS. |

| Christ! This is really old! And what is this guy talking about that it is only the Al Queda that can engage the LTTE successfully? Al Queda can only operate successfully if there is a strong Islamic presence in the said community, but not where there is only a very small Islamic group in the community. His other assertions are also far from convincing. He is just taking shots in the dark without solid research to back his theories. It is best if LankaNewspapers removes this clip completely. It is really quite useless. |
