This is exactly what is going on and it is here in simple terms for every one to hear. I hope the internal community would get a chance to listen to this and take appropriate action to strengthen the Sri Lankan government to defeat the LTTE. Does any one know how to down load this clip?

Bonggo,
In fact, what is this 'attitude problem' you are talking about?
this problem will persist if we do not change our attitude

We grew up with tamils all our lives but never felt superior or considered them inferior. In fact they never felt so either. The 1983 problems were a totally different issue. To be honest, we have family friends, who were given shelter by my family after those incidents, who have never said anything like 'superiority-inferiority'to date.

Good work Paul - we will get the good out of it,

Lots of appreciations for the Sinhala.

You have explained to mota ralas the situation in N&E in detail. Some people are still in denial and continue to write rubbish here. So LTTE has achieved some thing.

Mr Paul one thing I would like to mention that two provinces out of nine wont make 1/3 of the country.

Cleverly omitted the facts how LTTE come to the seen and exists. GOSL's and SLA's genocide.

Are you missing South beaches?

Another WMD?

I don't know whether you bring it in or not, I just brought it in here if you didn't notice. I am fully aware of all what happened in the past and I know it needs a serious solution, that's no question. I am sure, that is exactly what the government's position too.
My question to Bonggo was, what he meant by the attitude problem.. If you have felt that, you can answer for him too. Simply because none of my tamil friends would say what this attitude problem is, if one exists.
If he's talking about racism that some people were talking about, that's just a thing of the past. Some may be annoyed by the way they see it, some may have been affected. The 'racism' is not an entity that exists in the social structure anymore. His attitude problem can't be that.

Just take a few, firstly he called LTTE a terrorist.
SLGOV can call LTTE as terrorist that is their view and LTTE call them selves as freedom fighters that is LTTE's and Tamils view.
But when a professional journalist calls any group whether that was LTTE, Maoist, Hisabula or even Al-guida they do not call them by either but by their names. Have you seen the word terrorist been used in BBC, CNN or REUTERS.
So when he used the word terrorist it became politically motivated and biased to the SLGOV therefore lost his neutrality, any thing he said after that has no value.

He was naming alleged LTTE killing, has he ever said a word against the government violations or those TNA politicians getting killed?
Does he address the reasons for the so called terrorism to start in the first place?
He talked about Sinhalese and Muslims trouble but not a word about the Tamil people suffering.
First he says Al-guida will attack LTTE then he says Al-quida and LTTE have connections thus contradicts himself. He seems to have lot of knowledge on Al-guida connections than the US government.
This is simply a speech based on pro government sources to whip up support for Mr Mahinda &Co to get some sort of influence.

I can get 1000s of these speeches from pro LTTE people but apart from pleasing the relevant side they do nothing in reality.
We need somebody neutral to sort our problems mate.

Dont know what don bonggo meant but the attitude problem AFAIK is that majority mindset and how they can dictate (rights etc ) to the tamils. everyone HAS the SAME rights but sadly not practised.

It is a typical ignorant Whitman's view as exactly they had in the 70's against South African National Congress.
