Development of the material well being has not developed the spiritual level of the mankind. Development of science and technology does not guarantee the development of spiritual standard. Infact there are sign it is going opposite direction. I belive people of the Asian continent had an very high level of spiritual standard up until Arabian and Western civilisations encroach on those countrues.
Again according to your theory, people developed peacefull means of solving problem only yesterday. What an ignorant statement is that? I don't even have to answer that. I only can say it is America who use wars to settle disputes. It is this so called high techno-economic society that decide way to solve problem is by sticking to eye for eye. I don't blame them. For some people only language was war. You are like a bias umpire. |

If there was a peacefull solution to this in this country with 3000 years of world recognised civilisation, would have taken it. History tells me Sinhalese were never agressors. And history also tells me they never were scared by your kind of threatening. |

A criminal who commited so much crime receive this honery.
Him and his man killed 100,000 innocent tamils and he dont deserve a funeral like this.
it is sad that this criminals die without any sufferings so they never realise the crime they commited. |

Hm...why can't these people come to some terms and make peace? We are here watching this show every other week, what is the point?
If I grow and become President I will become the first Lankan statesman, throw my racial bias away and treat me as a leader for all the people and settle this problem by what ever suitable and rightful manner.
I will show my colours to the sinhala fellows who obstruct peace and try to exploit the situation.
The way these people are going, very soon we may have to hand over the army to some foregn company as no one will come forward to be the commander. |
