Mahinda is implementing Ranil Chintenaya and thats a fact but people still have some hope on MR that he would execute his chinatanaya for war or peace. Mahinda is a good speaker so he can win the hearts and communicate better than ranil.

Right now he is just waiting , giving JVP type headlines all talk no work. So MR has do something !!

Pera says,

Nada Nada... Gimme a break Nada...
Good that Sinhala people managed to capture the guy (Kataragama deiyo, the God of war) and lock him safely at Kadiragamar... he he...

Pera Pera, C'on, you know why the Kataragama deiyo is not helping the Sinhalese at war.

Once I heard Ven. Gangodawila Soma thero saying that even DhuttaGamini went to Kataragama and worshipped the Hindu 'war' God Muruga just before he started the war against Elara.

The problem now is, instead of going to Kataragama, the Army generals and the ministers/deputies of defense are going all the way to Sai Baba (the God of Love)...he..he..he.

Naleen,

I think Dumindak and Velupillai Prabhakaran both are the same person

I know that you hate Praba but not to this extent.

When you speak sense there will be always opposition and one should take it as a compliment

'Rebels attack' Sri Lankan navy

Tamil Tiger rebels have attacked two navy patrol boats off Sri Lanka's west coast, the military says.
Navy spokesman DKP Dassanayake said one of the patrol boats was on fire. 'We have asked for air force help.'

He said three rebel boats attacked near Kalpitiya, about 140km (86 miles) north-west of Colombo. There were no immediate reports of casualties.

The rebels have not commented on the incident yet. About 700 people have been killed in Sri Lanka this year.

Commander Dassanayake said there were at least five sailors on the boat that caught fire.

Fragile truce

Wednesday's incident came as the military prepared for the funeral of a top army general killed on Monday.

Maj Gen Parami Kulatunga died when a suicide bomber on a motorcycle crashed into his car, the military says. A spokesman for the Tigers denied involvement in the attack.

The rebels and the government say they still stand by a truce deal - but with rising unrest, the peace exists only on paper, the BBC's Dumeetha Luthra says.

Many victims of the violence have been civilians and members of the security forces.

Many Tamil civilians have also been killed over that time - by the security forces or affiliated paramilitary units, the rebels allege. Others blame some of those deaths on the rebels or other armed groups.
