When colonial powers conquered new land first thing they did was to make the country safe for them to live. They did not consider any human rights then. They have just eliminated everybody everything that has slightest possibility of danger them, their women folk and their children. Then only they brought their women and children. Even after they estabilshed in the country an offence from any member of the natives, they wiped out entire villages. They are not allowing us to do the same.
We have to ask the question can civilised Sri Lankan live in peace with these animals and savages in future? |

| When it comes to Peace the JHU doesn't want any International Body to involve in that matter and claims it solely an internal Problem and SL Govt. Could solve it. When they speak about demolishing Peace they want All the Super power of the world to stand with them. JHU. Let the Govt. solve the problem by negotiation for a Unity and Peaceful SL. |

Incidentally Pera, still you have not studied the 'rumor mongering obsession' of Paradise natives?
You are absolutely right.
The 'romour mongering' has taken its toll on the people in paradise.
I hear that most schools are closed in Colombo and the tension is very high...
Question is who is the interested party that created the romour??
Is it LTTE or some others ?????

After all your rubbish one word you mentioned really mellowed me man. It is about 'Rose Paang'.
It is so nice man, especially when it is hot and imagine eating that with pol sambol or scraped coconut and particularly made by a Matara baker! No bread in the world can beat that 'rose paang' bang. I really envy you that you are still enjoying that....paang. Good that you did not get out of paradise, rose paangh alone is enough.
But what bothers me is what an idiot you are to just ridicule that great 'rose paang' after all. You can certainly jump into Beira lake and pollute it some more, no harm, but don't ridicule rose paang.
Even otherwise Cobra, this paang is so close to our culture, especially southern political culture. Governments have come and governments have gone purely because of this paang gedi baang.
Can you remember one of your great leaders, that great old fox JR, he said that he would give free paam pitti to the natives if he was elected and pell mell all the morons voted for him. In fact he promised to bring paang pitti even from the moon (many folks thought paang pitti is cheap in the moon).
Then the other famous leader, who was murdered by the LTTE (that was what Preme wanted the then IGP to say as Chandra was not there), Lalith Athulathmudali even put ads. in all the local news papers including 'Daily Noise' that paradise is the only country in the entire world where the paang is the cheapest by hoodwinking the natives by comparing the weakest currency on earth against Dollars and sterling. But for the natives what is said in 'pathare' or Lanka Puwath is nothing but gospel, more than even Mahavamse, and they swallowed the whole stuff.
Haven't you seen how many times paang gedi had been taken on May Day rallies and political rallies where our ancient and latest red brothers played hell out of various governments.
Haven't you heard that before the invention of the LTTE, the paradise politics was entirely depending on paang gedi and bath, baang?
Ennada madaya Cobra, think before you write, any way now go and jump into Beira Lake but not with rose paang baang.

I took your message(rumor) seriously and called Colombo but did not find anything unusual. In fact the other end asked me who told you so???
I think this story is having its desired effect,. My contact would have called a couple of other locals and it snow balls.
Keep us updated on the real situation.
