I have a simple question for JHU. Did lord buddha followed the American way to tame Alawaka or Angulimala?
I suggest you guys to talk these nonsense without wearing that well respected sacred yellow robe. If you guys are really interested in politics,first give up the yellow rob without insulting great Buddhism, then wear some white suit like that duckter Rajitha Senarathna.
Let military and politicians and interested citizens to do whatever necessary. You guys stay at temple while engaging with your responsibilities and duties as religious dignitaries.

Follow the Americans....
GOSL have a lot of money to send a mission like Iraq.
Sri Lanka is one of the richest country in the world!
We can have our way like USA having in Afghanistan...
We can forget about what happened in the past like USA forgot about what happened in Vietnam, Somalia, Lebanon very soon in Iraq...
Like the USA we also can let the local civilians get killed by roadside and suicide bombers...
Who cares about what doesthe rest of world think???

He does not realize if the Tamils are constantly checked the Sinhalese will carry the explosives for the Tamils - at a price of course. Maybe he is thinking of an economic plan to better the income of the Sinhalese!

| Harassing Tamils will not help at all.Capture LTTErs alive and get all info. OR do constant checking on all suspected parties relentlessly and explain the innocent tamil/Sinhalese civilians the problem clearly and kindly. If intelligence officers are effective, they can start from here ! Tapping communication links always help to identify fugitives always. |

| Well done, thats exactly what the govt should do now but it will be possible only if UNP has the guts to admit their folly with the tigers & act like true Americans whom they worship all the time. Alas, the present UNP has no humans with backbones to call LTTE terrorists even with all the massacres they continue to commit, ever since sri lanka was doomed with their 'by force' implemented & still being boasted CFA created by tigers & Norway accepted by RW only to make room for him to capture power in the south. |
