Mahabala,

Not only you, we all must ready to defeat the roots of LTTE terrorism. I do not like to quite follow the path of America's example here because you have to talk about oil if you really follow them closely. Anyways, JHU is very correct.

Everyone has to hell stop about talking peace and have to act defeat this LTTE at once with full strength.
Up to 50 years we fight with ourselves while fighting with LTTE terrorists. By today, we all have to fight against enemies without fighting ourselves!

Tamil people are good what makes them bad is the LTTE stupid liberating idelogy. Therefore; how many LTTE terrorists you destroy, it cannot be done until the main head quarters or the roots of LTTE terrorists has to be demolished which is a good time and reason for killing General to stand up against this along with international community to destroy this!

So JHU wants to follow the Americans? It might take a thousand years for our people to think, work and act like the Americans,to have their mindset.I have met several of them(JHU) in London, bit stupid.Their people or the likes of them who brought this tragedy to our country.we would have been much near to the American or the western people's thinking, soon after days of our Independence, where an average person in the country would have stood up to this terrorists, but for the breakdown of our well established institutions that were left by the Colonial powers by these nationalist idiots, have made our people stupid and idiotic and superstitious, with a religion
of the majority breathing down on the country, thus making the people backward, stupid and even corrupt, resulting in having equally stupid, idiotic and corrupt leaders.Just one example is that the Americans will never go by the auspicious times of the planets before launching of an offensive against the terrorists, but our leaders do.These fundamentalists are responsible for closure of our Christian schools where a high level of discipline or ethos was practiced and our people were in par with any other western country and we would have met this situation much more differently and much effectively.but what do we have now,a bunch of cowards as leaders and all they could say or do when a great man like Kadiragamer was killed was to come on TV and to announce that we must close all butcher shops and liquor bars.So you people in JHU will never have the courage or the mindset of the Americans.bring back the values of our past masters that you destroyed and please don't talk crap about our past civilization of our nation,as it has no meaning to our present terrorist and other chronic problems of our country.

Don't shoot the messenger just because you cannot stomach the message. The bishop is obligated to speak the truth even at the cost of putting his life at risk.

The church has always stood by the innocent civilians in all parts of the country.

A Sinhalese bishop comes to my mind who was a priest when innocent Sinhalese were murdered in the name of JVP. He fought on behalf of a lot of young men and women, his life was always at risk but he did what he was called to do.

Chami:

Honey, lets share the mission. we do not need criticism. we can select the best from their experience. we do not have to repeat the mistake others have done.

I am in a position to defeat LTTE in my strong mentallity. If given I will do it and allow innocent N_E tanils equal or close right.

I will not let down them or any other part of the civil life.

We have lots of resources. More than in USA.

Well, just by listening to me, you will judge this a mad man. No! that is a mistake.

Thanks foe sharing the mission.

Well How about Mahinda? Is he sharing the mission? yes?
Is he capable yes?

Yes of course no point complaining to IC and SLMM or condemning the attack or asking other people to condemn the attack or publishing such reports . Now the GOSL should take final step to eradicate this menace for once and for all.I believe the GOSL have tried enough to bring the LTTE to negotiation table with the help of IC, SLMM, EU etc.. etc..etc.If the LTTE do not want peace the peace loving people, may be JHU, may be JVP may be UNP should force the GOSL to send the butchers in pieces.

Sri Lanka's Failure of Governance, Collapse in Rule of Law are Root Causes of Conflict - Human Rights Group
Jun 19, 2006, 00:08
TNS

The Asian Human Rights Commission said in a statement last week that the root causes of Sri Lanka's conflict - the failure of governance and the collapse of the rule of law - needs to be addressed before a solution can be found to Sri Lanka's problem. Asking why Sri Lanka's problem has been defying a solution, the AHRC said in its statement that it has constantly pointed out that the root causes of this conflict go far beyond language or any ethnic factor.

'It is a problem of the whole nation which has refused to address the fundamental problems of the development of the state as one based on the rule of law. Today the rule of law has collapsed in all parts of the country. The writ of the state is not complied with in any area, and the major agencies of law enforcement are acknowledged to have collapsed,'? the AHRC said in its statement

The statement pointed out that the Sri Lankaâ??s judicial system was in serious crisis, and has even forced two of the three members to resign form the Judicial Service Commission. The absolute immunity granted to the Executive President under Article 35 of the Constitution, says the Commission, has been interpreted by the courts to mean that they have no power to adjudicate on acts or omissions, official or personal of the President.

The whole issue of appointments to superior courts and important commissions directly by the President contravening the mandatory provisions of the Constitution, the Commission says, points to the utter collapse of constitutionalism in the country.

'The legal foundation of the country has been thoroughly shaken since 1978 and an authoritarian style of Constitution, couched in the jargon of democratic Constitutions was introduced. The AHRC on earlier occasions has pointed out the legalised tyranny guaranteed by the 1978 Constitution,'? the AHRC said in a sobering critique of Sri Lanka's constitution.

'To limit the discussion purely to unitary or federal states is to lose sight of the fact that when the constitutionalism is lost neither unitary nor federal states can survive. The overreaching consideration for any solution is that the constitutionalism itself must be the backbone of the country's legal framework. It is this framework that has collapsed; and without that, there is no solution to any of the problems,'? the Commission said.

'As the people in the country are once again watching the escalation of violence with shock, the only genuine way to mourn the deaths of the people who have lost their lives in this senseless violence is go beyond the hypocritical rhetoric of all parties concerned and to address the fundamental issues of the failure of governance in Sri Lanka,'? the Commission further noted.

'The decades of violence call for conscientious citizens of all communities to intervene to bring to an end the cynical play of words which often go as commitments to find a solution without any real effort being made to do so. This cannot be done without addressing the complete collapse of governance in Sri Lanka,' the AHRC said in its statement.

JVP at least has the experience in running their homes and also one Pradeshiya Sabha.

JHU members don't even know how to run a family.A few power hungry, power greedy Buddhist Priests have flocked together to ruin the country in the same style the JVP is doing it.

I suggest JHU members to leave their robes and join the ARMY to fight Prabhakaran.
