Naleen

answer to your first question.

up until feburary 54,188 tamils are killed by army.
25,292 Disappeared ( arrested by army and presumed dead) 12,454 ( womens reportedly raped)

total tamils killed by sinhala army (reported one only until feb 06)
=79,480 tamils = in 58 years so take ave killing per day from independance and

for your first question answer is
if you add 8.8 days bodies that is the answer.

second question
not really , but i have travelled around.

however your posting touched my heart.

With every death I hear, in addition to feeling sorry for the victims, I feel so sorry for our motherland. I feel so sorry because we do not have a leader who realises the value of peace; because we do not have a leader who can bring peace to this land and also because this is not the last death we are going to hear.

Lula...I think the Buddhist believe that Gautama Buddha had this extra sensory perception to see the unseen. In all the Jathaka Stories such perception is in abundant measure. IF, really your Lord could 'see the unseen', and he were to see your Posting about all these 'innovations' about the kadiradevan, the kataragama 'gods', I wonder what he would feel and do to all you guys who have deviated from his path !.

All those in the JHU are a bunch of guys in search of materialistic gain. Otherwise..where is the necessity for Monks to leave the Temple and get into a House which is more a 'Den of Thieves' than parliament.

AnuD,

SLA should not worry about harassing any tamils living close to or within those areas with constant searching.

SLA does not worry about killing any civilian either by the soldiers or their bribed paramilitaries in the Northeast. What the leaders of SLA/SLN/SLAirForce commit come back to subject them to the same treatment and fate. This is boomarang-effect.
