Dear folks,

Firstly I am as shocked as anyone to see another top ranked official paid his life due to inconsistency of political thinking in our country.

Whether we folks like the CFA or not that is a different question but we need to address the crux of the matter and that is LTTE are fighters fighting for tamils in NE without tamils' support in the NE LTTE cannot survive, they are brutal and the only way these brutalities can be stopped is through a peaceful political solution which is to put forward a plan than can be accepted for the NE tamils.

MR came on the back of JVP bretheren who were against the CFA now left them in the lurch thus slowly creeping to RWs shoes. This is quite obvious with the recent behaviours of MR. Now he has realised WAR is not an option because he knows the repercussions of war that could bring to the already crippled country with fuel prices and further down the slope is not what the doctors order is. MR's stance on peace is further endorsed on his reluctance to tear the CFA.

MR is now looking for a peaceful solution but he's dragging things in order to keep his allies JVP in the guessing hutch. The JVP on the other hand not sure what MR is saying. Which ever way we the common folks have to realise that power devolution is imminent and whether its through dragging the CFA for another useless period or not remains to be seen. Dragging things would only result in further loss of lives and same rhetoric of 'looking for peace'.

The only difference MR takes time to provide Federal solution whereas RW would have already facilitated thus may have saved Gen Kulatunge's life. Its a time V human cost thing and we must not let human lives let beyond possible low level.

So folks lets talk something sane that we can implement through negotiations than glorifying war. If war was the answer then it would have already been succeeded.

Naleen

I am disappointed, I was expecting a lengthy reply from you bashing me as JVP/JHU and motta-rala supporter.

It looks that you have grown up a bit now.

There are conflicting reports coming through.

some says it must be a Tit For Tat attack By LTTE for army killed two of their majors Ramanan and Maj Mahindi.
some argue if two Majors of LTTE killed there should be two maj deads in army and so far only one is dead. will there be anothe one to go soon?? noone too sure.

while Others say It was the work oF JVP to get their puppet man on the Maj Gen Job. in the past JVP reported to have try to kill Sarth fonseka to replace one of their man to the job.

Naleen,

I have less reason to bash Motta Raala now, as he is gradually coming to the right way

Yes, I agree. I feel it took some few hundred lives to the graveyard for him to realise that. This is what I was thinking when I was in SL in November and when people were slaughtering RW as a traitor who wanted to divide the country thereon etc. But those people have slowly realised where Mahinda is heading now.

In a way after all those who come to the chair with impractical pledges do take time to realise the truth and at least after seven months Mahinda may have realised that and only time will tell us where he's heading and let the JVP bretheren dig their heads in the sand.

Dear General, A giant in the recent SLA history is gone. You would have been the top man in 6 months if lived till that day.

It was only last week papers revealed that there are going to be major attacks on Army Top Brass. How did you forget this. Many Army officers knew that there will be attacks from Monday. The whole world cannot understand why you did not take precautions.

Of course You like productive, dedicated, Army officers are given simple cars & minimum security that are not worthwhile talking about. But if one became the President of Sri Lanka only no matter what sort of a moron he is,
10-15 Mercedez, Bullet Proof Cars are Air Flown all the way from Germany.

Dear General, this is the ground reality. At least let your demise be a lesson to take precautionary measurers for the living hierachy in all the forces.

I cant understand why everyone is shedding tears for this racist pri**. So many civilians are killed and the international community or no one in the country cares a damn. But when one LTTE barbarian or SL army barbarian is killed everyone is crying in this forum.

All i can say more the merrier. Hope the Black Tigers and DPU wipe out all these lot for good. Who cares a damn about these generals who send so many innocent poor singhala youths to the front lines and who cares a toss about the LTTE commanders who send so many kids to the battle field.

All of you here should shed some tears for the poor civilians who get killed by these barbarians.

Hope the Sri Lankan patriots the Black tigers and the DPU will get rid of these fat commanders, generals and polticians out of the way asap!!.
