UNICEF condemns abduction and recruitment of Sri Lankan children by the Karuna group

The fact that Karuna is recruiting children in the GOSL controlled areas shows that the GOSL is either turning a bling eye or they are complicit in it.
This shows the double standards being employed by the GOSL. Child recriutment is a propaganda weapon against the LTTE and the GOSL has used it to good effect. Now it is time to expose GOSL complicity in this vile practice.
When 40,000 kids are on the streets servicing the intimacyual deviants, both local and foreign, it is unlikely the GOSL really gives a hoot what happenes to Sri Lanka's kids. |

If any LTTEr or LTTE sympathyser accuse Karuna for whatever. They accuse themseves.Sinhalayas or GOSL cant help it.Karuna is Praba's baby
International Community and Tamils accuse the SL Government for its dublicity while pretending to negitiate with LTTE caused split and abrogate its responsibility of abduction of children and murdering the civilians.
Abduction of children is a criminal offence. Why did not SLG appoint an independent judicial commission to investigate who (LTTE , SLA or Karuna group) commit such crimes and take steps to punish the offenders? Karuna is allowed to funtion legally by opening offices in the Govt controlled areas. Karuna's wife has bank accounts with very large amounts of money in Colombo. His group indulges in criminal activities in the SLG controlled areas. You help Karuna to commit them and pretend innocent by shutting your eyes and turn the other way. They will boomarang on you ver soon. Karuna will tern out to be SLG's Karma?

Looking at the silence of many forum members on this topic it seems they all accept this condemnation by UNICEF and have nothing to add.
It would be brave though to grab this opportunity to condemn child abduction and recruitment.
