If they get the Tamil Eelam, they will print their own Eelam currency. I don't think they will stick with the SL rupee which devalued every day to the government irresponsible spending |

Kadhirgamar, Lakshman to be precise,I do not want to be disrespectful to his brothers including Rear Admiral Kadhirgamar, Commander of Royal Ceylon Navy; IGNORED THE TAMIL COMMUNITY AND IT'S STRUGGLE BY SHOWING ONLY THE FACE OF LTTE TO THE WORLD.
He refused to portray LTTE as a tool in the Tamils' struggle. All because he did not care for fishermen, barbers and uneducated human beings.
He may have associated with the elites of Colombo 7 and the famous internationally from his mid teenage years. He deliberately snubbed his own roots and the beleaguered community.
There should never be a Traitor like Laksman Kadhirgamar born again for any community.
Respecting him for his education and fame around the world is different from appreciating him as a HUMAN BEING. He doesn't deserve any appreciation for a human being. He used his talents to kill people. He did not save lives.
He is a waste.

| Tamils in Tamilnadu are treated in the same way as Malayalam's in Kerala or the Gujarati's in Gujarat or Hindi people in North. None of them wants their own separate country. Everyone benefits from each other and they are treated equally. If the Tamils in SL are are treated with equal right and opportunity then they wouldn't need one in SL too. |

Agree with you. If tamils are going to look up to an terrorist organization like LTTE. Then we are far from resolving this ethnic conflict, b/c LTTE is the biggest problem here. Tamils need to look to another alternative other that the LTTE. SLMC has quite successfully represented some of the grievances of the muslim community. Likewise now is the time that Tamils need to look to another alternative and created a strong tamil democratic party that can address some of the tamil grievances in a democratic manner. |
