Mr. Wickremesinghe trying out one of the sirens donated yesterday to villages bordering the northeast. - Manoj Ratnayake.
Opposition UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday assured that the UNP was committed to ensure the security of people living in villages bordering the North and East.
At a ceremony held at his Cambridge Terrace residence to mark the distribution of 20 sirens to these villages, Mr. Wickremesinghe said soon after the Kebithigollewa claymore mine attack he had directed his party to re start the programme of distributing sirens to villages vulnerable to terrorist attacks. He said the UNP had distributed sirens to more than 200 villages since 1995 and 100 more villages have asked for these sirens.

Ranil,
Come on..... When you were as PM of SL, you gave every thing for Tigers. Now they are fully equipped for killing innocent civilians and this time Sirens are for villages bordering the north-east.
What a great leader you are...
You found the most suitable solution for this ongoing problem.

When i was equipted with Prriminister post i gave peace for sinhalese same time i was working hard to distry Tigers ( silent killer)
now the dumb sinhalese have no choice , use the sirent.
In Ranils eye he can see war will be in every village.
Tamilselvan said if war started it will be reflected in the whole country.
Now that sinhalese have distroyed tamils assets and killed over 100,000 tamils , stell everything from tamils. Tamils are not barbaric as sinhalese therefore we have not retaliate to innocent civilions.
If Sinhalese do it again. we have no choice.
what will it happen?

but MR is capable of beating Tigers, that is only what we expect from a leader now. After that every thing is OK!
