I feel very sorry for this chap Ranil. He has been driving many things wrong side of the road for many times now, not sure whether he realises his lapses but after all life is a learning curve. Being a poor communicator never helps when that is mostly needed in the job.
Keep your pecker up young/old man. One thing he's proud of is Roy-Thomo thread passed the grand mark, and yes, Hip hip Hooray!! |

At least say .
you got your sirens made by a local factory or a local maker not cheap importants from India or China...!!
I would promise you all the votes from my family will definitly be cast at you in the next election.
BTW,
If I were you, I would import only a single siren and wd get all the others copied(reproduced) by a local producer.
And appeal it to people, kicking the jvp's a##. |

You don't need to feel sorry for this idiot. He has been a useless man not like his Uncle JRJ who was shrewed and knew what he was doing to the country when our soldiers were dying he was clever enough to bring those Indians to finish the terrorists off but Premadasa just messed it up by sending them back and providing arms to the terrorists.
Now we have to suffer for all that ignorance by him.

Ha ha ha very funny man.
Let me take you back to the memories of 1987. When our valiant soldiers under Denzil Kobbekaduwa in the legendery Vadaimarachchi battle were defeating the LTTE and closing in on Jaffna, the Indian Government interfered in the most unfair manner.
They forced the Government to stop the operation and dropped parippu from air, forced the 13th Amendment to the Constituion on us with its ancillary Provincial Councils Act and the temporary merger of North and East. JR was powerless and had no choice but to accept it against the marauding Indians. They sent the Indian forces in to our country too.
Aha, some of have only selective memories. Remember how the JVP made use of that opportunity to create havoc in the country, the mayhem they caused. Everybody know what they did, too numerous to mention here. Suffice for me to say that they even killed members of the armed forces. They joined the army not to protect the country but to kill its members, even when they were sleeping in barracks. The LTTE could only watch them with envy, saying 'aiyo they are doing our job even better than us.'
Didnt it ever occur to you -
1. If our army was able to almost rout the LTTE, why the mighty Indian army could not do it?
2. Why should the Indian Government send its soldiers to Sri Lanka to fight someone else's war (The material cost of such an operation will be huge too) and get her soldiers killed wihtout getting any benefit?
3. JR was shrewd but was the dreaded RAW stupid enough to swallow his bait?
4. Didnt it ever occur to you that India was not interested in solving our problems but only interested in spreading its hegemony over Sri Lanka? I wish they had done that because in such a scenario the LTTE too would have joined the Sri Lankan army to fight the Indians (win or lose is a different matter). That would have made us all united as Sri Lankans.
Aney paw, the JVP is innocent of all our sufferings. All our sufferings are because Premadasa messed it up by sending the Indian soldiers back (the Indian Government was powerless aginst his verbal barrage) and this idiotic spineless UNP leader Ranil who signed the CFA with LTTE. Read my earlier postings on what sort of damage this bloody CFA has caused us.
P.S.
yes yes you will say that now JVP is a democratic party and they have renounced violence and they are committed to a unitary state and many more. I agree, but dont twist facts and distort history. |
