SLMM blames Sri Lanka Government

| SLMM sees only shortcomings of the Sri Lankan Government. They don't go to criticise the LTTE. They have either the fear for life or may be they will loose their well paid, lucrative jobs. |

Knowlegde is power.
BUT
school is not the only place to gain your knowlegde, eventhough it is the most common place.
People like Henry Ford, Thomas Edison only had a few months/years of schooling. Yet the become the most succesful inventors/businessmen of all time.
Does it mean they were stupid men who got lucky? No of course not. These guys are extremely knowlegdeable and good in the things they did. They have learned many things about their chosen field, but they just didn't learn it at school were you are rewarded with a certificate or a title.
I am saying this as an inspiration to those who are/were not in a situation to finish school. School is a good start, but it's just a start. |

People should know it was the GOSL that has invited the Norwegians (and the SLMM) to come to Sri Lanka.
So why the hell inviting a party which is supporting the Tigers. That sounds like suicide!
(But we all know the SLMM is as impartial as it can be. It's just hard to accept when the SLMM from now and then blames our chosen party. There is always going to be someone who is against them. That's how it is, since we have 2 big parties. When the SLMM blames the Tigers, the Tiger supporters will think they are GOSL supporters. With news items like this it's the other way around..)

Tamils are talking to all the leaders of the South for last 50+ years. What has come out of these talks? Tamils believe that the GoSL wants to waste time until VP's time runs out without realising that it's not VP but J-VP are the real reason for the conflict today. Former US Asst Secretary of State said to the former Govt grab the chance LTTe gave in agreeing to P-TOMS inwhich they recognised for the first time the governance of SLG in their territories. But J-VP went to the courts to block it and the court dominated by the South obliged. We are facing the consequences. To have peace we must have mutual trust and both parties must work together. Let us see what SLMM says as a must to have lasting peace
it should be emphasised that there are two basic fundamentals which are necessary for lasting peace and stability: a confident legal system and full democratic control of the armed forces.

Easy answer,
Same thing goes to the LTTE too, why should the gosl talk to a bunch of terrorists who only know how to kill innocent children and women?
That answers your question. So the answer is democratically elected government should finish terrorism without enquiring SLMM for any thing because its Sri Lankan government and people who should decided what is best for the country not a foriegner. |

when you mentioned idiots picked up by GOSL it means people like Dr Kohonna for preliminary talks re SLMM I thought.
Then, I thought if you perceive these people to be idiots, by implication you think that TC is a brilliant scholar. |

the strategist thinks, the gosl team is a god send one, so why not talk to them is the question he posed. so played to his tune on the first part.
why should the ltte talk to some one from the gutter picked up by gosl instead of sending minister? mind you, mankala was in Norway just on the day the ltte was to leave? so why could not the gosl send mankala along with those gutter boys? |

MAY BE YOUR ARE UPSET ABOUT LTTE BECAUSE THEY TALK THE LANGUAGE YOUR GOSL UNDERSTAND BETTER!!
