SLMM blames Sri Lanka Government

SLMM should now ask the european Union to stop labelling LTTE as terrorist organisation and recognise as freedom fighters like in east tremor.
SLMM should also ask the European Union to send an European Union peace keeping force to Sri Lanka immediately.
The bus attack was the work of the sinhalese governments to continue this ethnic war to destroy the whole Tamil Population in sri Lanka. Donors countries should now understand why the government blamed LTTE immediately without any investigation.
The Indian government should also reconsider their policy towards Tamils in Sri Lanka.
The international community should understand that every communal violence well organised by sinhalese people (UNP or SLFP ) against Tamils was to reduce Tamil Populations in Sri Lanka and make them to flee away towards to India.
I hope that the Tamils living azll over the world should give more moral and material supports to LTTE to fight against the Sinhalese racisits governments. |

Who is bloody SLMM to blame my mother land, its we the owners of the land have right to decide whats best for our country and not bloody 'para suddo'
We are too good when compared with other countries,
(as I have been to many) our too goodness taken for granted by all dogs, foxes.
There is no law dealing with these eliments but eliminate them from our holy mother land. |

Don't be too harsh. I know at times we get so upset. But, remember, this time round it's a war of minds as well as forces.
Karuna faction, JHU, JVP etc. is a strategy to weaken an enemy by thinking strategically. This operation will take 6 months at least.
Now JVP is asking the GOSL to separate North and East to destroy the enemy. One arm group from north and another from Batti and SLAF from above.
I don't like violence but it's all out war now. What can you do? |

| It's a tragedy. GOSL has been successfully campaigning against the LTTE in the international audience for the last 25 years. Regardless of the facts, they were able to paint LTTE as the only quandary. The moment they allowed a 3rd Country to monitor both, they should have prepared to accept criticism. By forcing GOSL to accept a 3rd party monitoring mission, LTTE has traumatized GOSL's credibility. |

U still did not answer my question. Instead you danced around it with words, just like some politicians we know in SL. This is typical of people like you. When i say people like you - i mean people who have a ton of criticism but no constructive alternatives to offer.
So i ask once again, 'DO You THINK THE JOB NORWAYS HAS IS EASY?' The job norway has undertaken is something no one else would touch with a 10 foot pole. Just look at how almost every politician in SL is begging india to 'poke its hands into SL', but they are refusing.
Whenever, Norway makes a ruling, it hurts one party or the other. Just a few weeks ago the LTTE blasted Norway for ruling that the LTTE had no rights at sea. They are here as mediators or facilitators. So they have to be as unbiased and as non-confontational as they can with both sides. Theirs is a thankless job. They have gained absolutely NOTHING and will gain NOTHING with their involvement in Srilanka. We have no oil and our economy is in a mess.
On the other hand they have directly or indireactly helped SL save over 12-20 thousand lives (based on the historial figrue of loosing 3-5 thousand lives annually). They have played an crucial role saving our economy, which was in crisis in 2001. Yet what do they get in return - insults and the worst form of attack.
Comming to this article - Norway says, 'Srilankan governments unwillingness to implement its commitments in Geneva as the principal cause for the deteriorating security situation in the country.' This is 150% correct. if im wrong please explain.
I can understand why you dont agree with disarming karuna. but that is not the issue here. The Government agreed to disarm them at the formal negotiations table. This is NOT Norways fault. It is the governments fault. You should be blaming the government for agreeing to this.
I PERSONALLY feel the government should not have agreed to this. I feel the government should have offered to withdraw the karuna faction to areas like Polonnaruwa and Anuradapura, instead of disarming them, in the interest of peace.
U keep saying, 'it is not so easy to ask Norway to leave'. can you please explain to us why???? What is so difficult about it? After that we can talk about the pros and cons of Having Norway here.
Sending Norway away isn't as easy as you think,regardless of how hard or easy their job is, without cancelling out the CFA.
What CFA???? Is there a CFA to Cancel???? As far as i can see the CFA is dead and gone. The LTTE 'cancelled' it a few months ago. All Norway is trying to do revive it. As of this moment there is NO CFA. SO i dont understand this 'difficulty' you talk about sending Norway home.
Also You keep repeating that im Frustrated. The ONLY frustration i have is, how this Joker - MR is messing up every thing he touches and that hurts the country. A Man who has been in Politicis for over 35 years and yet has no CLUE what to do. I believe this type of frustration should be felt by everyone, not just me.
Other than that i have no frustrations. He has gone back on every promise, has non answer and he is Proving to the world that every one who believed him is a fool. So please explain to me, how im frustrated.

I left SL when I was about 16 and that's why i really like these songs/poems. This one is new. And, it describes the youthful and naughty life.
No Indian papadams. Just from Nugegoda and looking forward to go to SL soon on a new assignment. |
