Capo...your answer- A big NO... to my question seems like evading the issue.

It is a known fact, which ofcourse the supporters of the Blues and Reds would not like to accept, that it was because of the short sighted policies of every successive
Alliance Governments which had aggravated the present issue.
Simply because certain issues are un-palatable for certain individuals does not mean the issue is forgotten or would simply vanish into thin air. As long as people realize their mistakes and make amends the problems confronting Sri Lanka would remain. The ultimate result would be another 'killing fields'.

Velu?s Party Down The Drain

On Friday night Velu was siting in his rat hole breaking his knuckles! He was anticipting the news that the Colombo Port has been devastated! The clock was slowly ticking but news was not coming! At around 1:36 am he decides to go to his bathroom, but constipated! Another problem! Comes out dashing the door and sits back and calls the Political Barber of the LTTE (Liberation Twats of Tamil Eelam)!

They have a quick converstion and prabha was apparently saying that he could not wait to break his Arrack bottle to celebrate! Even his body guards were licking lips at that thought! Anyway it was a short call!

At the center, the Twat's barber was also bored waiting for the news to come! Called Soosai to see wut his Sea Tiger Frogs were doing but Soosai was fast asleep, after switching off his phone! This made the barber furious and ordered for a Prostitute!

Soosai on the East coast woke up at 4 pm because he had a task at hand! His task was to create a small comotion at Mannar sea's to divert the attention of the GOSL and world from the Port Blast but little did he know that the froggy's were Breathless at sea! So as usual he woke and went to the toilet and sat there passing out the previous days Idly and Vaddai! His phone still switched off!

Comes out of the loo and orders the mannar attack! Boats dispatched! Well now wut to do in the mean time??? Went back to SLEEP! (Lazy Twat Leader)

Wakes up at 12 when velu was forced to come out of his rat hole and paid him a visit! Barber also tagged along! Susy wakes up and scratches his head and says, MISSION SUCCESS! CONGRATS! Soon a tadpole (in the making to become a frog) of the sea tiger wing dashes in, kneels down towards velu, and prays to him (God) for 5 mins and says, AIYO AIYO AIYO! 8 of our Boats have become submarines! We have 30 Mahaveerars! They are trying to put water out of 3 boats with buckets!

Then Susy says, im sure our frogs did a nice job to compensate! Well we won in the end!

Aiyo Sar (sir), the Sri lankan forces are enjoying frog legs for lunch and dinner instead! Then a terrible odour filled the air? (Remember the constipated velu??? Was it him???)

Is there any possibility for UN PeaceKeeping forces or does it depend on the Americans?

The report further states the government was responsible for maintaining law and order in its territory and that includes preventing operations by criminals, paramilitaries and other unofficial armed groups.

It's yesterday's weaknesses of the government that have resulted in today's pain. These weaknesses cannot be addressed overnight - especially without the cooperation of Tamils in whom Government has relied heavily in the past to maintain law and order through the Administrative system. Until the government feels connected to Tamils they would not successfully manage law and order. So long as the goverment sees any disagreeing Tamil as a Tiger supporter - the government would not feel connected to Tamils. This forum is proof of this.

Gaja Lakshmi,

It's yesterday's weaknesses of the government that have resulted in today's pain

You keep hitting the nail on the wrong head, why is that Gaja Lakshmi? Are you just seeing the inability or the lacklustre effect on the GOSL only? Tell me one positive thing that the Tigers willing to compromise to come to an effective role in this long tug-of-war?

You must be just day dreaming Gaja Lakshmi, I am indeed baffled and dumbfounded by your inability to focus on the full picture of the proceedings. Or are you just being abstaining talking openly of the affairs due to personal security reasons imposed by the tiger leadership?

Thanks

Patrick,

You have to ask the Tiger leadership that question. When I have the need to know consciously and expressly I will ask them. But right now if you had asked me as a TAMIL I would tell you that I have sacrificed my earned Goodwill and Status with governments to openly speak as a Tamil - often being condemned on the basis of Tigers because people like you insist on making Tigers out of all Tamils who disagree with you and your government. I consider this to be a big sacrifice considering my deep investment in Public Administration through my conduct and work.

You say
You must be just day dreaming Gaja Lakshmi, I am indeed baffled and dumbfounded by your inability to focus on the full picture of the proceedings. Or are you just being abstaining talking openly of the affairs due to personal security reasons imposed by the tiger leadership?

Patrick, are you not capable of working out who I am - coward or courageous - from the way I have challenged my opposition here in Australia - which is my home now? At the higher levels of Management and Politics you need to be able to communicate intuitively and between the lines - so that your opposition - past, present and future - would not bring you down to the physical level where the public could take one side or the other. This is essential in issues that are likely to be resolved. If I seek outright victory - then I would give you outright answers. Otherwise I facilitate for you to read your own answers as per YOUR investment which I strengthen during our partnership. In other words I am a facilitator from whom the International leaders messing up the Sri Lankan issue need to learn.

Forest,

I am still waiting your response to my question on my posting 233 on page 18.

Regarding your question to Ariyalai_SB, (on LTTE's moves to make contact with the South) may I tell you that P-TOMS was the recent agreeent both the govt. of CBK and LTTE arrived at but JVP sabotaged it with the help of the court. Even former Asst.Sec. of State of US said that SLG missed an opportunity to make peace because in his words LTTE conceeded the governance of the SLG in the areas controlled by them.

We all agree that out of all the Tamil parties LTTE may be the one with least contact with the South, it's not a desirable or healthy situation. The one of the reasons is that LTTE was founded as a result of the failures of all the contacts and communications of our democratically elected moderate Tamil parties with their Souhtern counter parts. How can we blame LTTE alone for this situation? How can I make contact with you if you do not want it?

I got your point; you have a good fathers' day too.
Today, we need to think about all those children who do not have fathers to look up to.

The point about GOSL do not treat their Tamil citizens as their own is manifestly obvious, whichever way one looks at it.

Yes Ariyalai_Sb,
got to thank my parents for getting me out. One can only hope the ones
left behind are somehow taken care of.

most here when posed a Q conveneiently step over it or skip over it
and just rattle on. I am waiting to see how the IC will respond to the
church shooting. I have a feeling the IC once again will keep mum
which in turn the GOSL will take as a green light to prosecute the war.

Only tamils can help tamils

Jillball,

I first put out the SLBC.Lk site maybe month ago when someone quoted
from it. The ONLY sinhalese person to acknowledge the post was
DEWEY. I thanked hi for writing to them. i had posted it on sevral threads. He not only acknowledged
it he wrote to SLBC And the letter was posted here.
Youre the SECOND
person to acknowledge it.

when one doesnt acknowledge faults there is no way of correcting it.
this might be a small issue but this has been the way GOSL has
acted when it comes to the tamils.
