I told you that LTTE is not the answer for the Tamils; Tamils need a peaceful administration
Well, if you believe in peaceful admin then we need to relocate SL somewhere else as things stand I don't think the LTTE are allowing that to happen. More violence and more killing and even today 3 more policemen were butchered by the LTTE. What do you think the GOSL should do when its obvious that these beasts have no option than killing Sinhalese whenever possible. LTTE making it more like a Sinhalese V Tamil war than Government trying to appease CFA and protect the civilians of the country.
Where shall we travel from here on Ariya? I know you are not an LTTEr so would like an answer that is practical than bombarding the GOSL as most of the members here do.

You have made some very good points. It is not a secret that LTTE eliminated all their opponents; they rightly or wrongly believed that Tamils must have one voice, and they decided that it would be them! It is also common sense that we cannot do anything about what went on before; we can only influence the future.
Basically, we need to deal with the issues that are in front of us. Tamils appear to support LTTE; this is typical in circumstance of this nature. The Sinhalese must realise that Tamils do not trust them, and every incident: rape, killing, and genocide is substantiating that belief.
I said this to Vini and others: GOSL must come out credible in order for Tamils to feel that they are wanted; until this happens, LTTE will enjoy Tamil confidence. People must put themselves in their position.
So my question is how are you guys going to make peace? Really how? Again I have to ask this question, again and again, how are you going to make peace until you start talking to other groups of people living in this island? I am at a loss for ideas!
Forest, what has been the point of negotiations, if agreements haven?t been followed upon? Both sides must abide by their sides of the agreements, and advance the peace process; in the process, at correct times, other parties should be included. If they were to do that, there will come a time, when continued presence of LTTE is no longer warranted. |

Please don't get me wrong here. But I think people like you are more detrimental than pure fun for our society because for everything you try to see a fun out of it. Whenever a social crisis is looming your try to ceate fun which is ridiculous and appalling.
You must see what is happening to SL now instead of making absurd funny jokes out of members who talk some sense to fellow members pertaining atrocities that these Wanni killers commit. Your sense of humour is just sarcastic and a thorn to those who died in tragic circumstances in Anuradhapura hence I request you to talk some decent sense in order respect to those innocent people who were victimised by this vicious terror cancer instead of appeasing the killers.

Your sarcasm is well noted!
I have been reading some of your contributions lately; they appeared unbalanced to be frank. You need to remember that LTTE haven?t just come into being; they have been shaped by events sense independence. The reality is that LTTE have shaped themselves into a formidable organisation capable of full scale military battles. It is foolhardy to expect for them to pack up their bags and disappear!
