Pakistan provides computer centre

The Government of Pakistan is to finance the setting up of a modern Computer Center with advanced training facilities, in Colombo.
The project is a trilateral collaboration between the Pakistan Government, the All Ceylon Young Men`s Muslim Association (YMMA) and the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo said.
The Computer Center will offer training courses to deserving young persons.
The YMMA will be the focal organization for the project, where the Vocational Training Authority will provide the academic staff, curriculum and examination system. The entire Center including the provision of computers and other equipment has been funded by the Pakistan Government.
The Center will be a symbolic project of the traditional Pakistan-Sri Lanka friendship.
The inauguration will take today at 5.00 pm at the YMMA National Headquarters, No. 63, Sri Vajiragnana Mawatha, Colombo 09, (Tel: 2694075/2689613).

if you have read my comments you know what this computercenter means.
This computercenter is cost srilanka $250M. ( 1% of Purchase) just like UK Loyality card give back scheme. |

How come Pakistan has not set up a similar 'modern computer center' in Pakistan itself yet?
May be they want to try it in SL to see if it works, and then set up one in Pakistan! :)
This is an item that desrves to be in Repley's believ it or not!
I have been to both countries many times, and in my experience the help should have been the other way around.

here this what i meant , i wrote sometime ago for people like you to see and understand.
In this case Nector Points bought you a computer center
(In UK Nector points ( loyalty cards if you spend £100 you will get £1 worth points, or coupons.)
Pakistan give 250 Million Credit to buy wepon.
America gives 1 billion Credit lines to Wepons.
both gives £1 million worth food vouchers.
in a post i analysed how much each governemnet tresury get from sale of such wepons.
in $250M Pakis Tresury will get around $170 and they prepare to give food voucher for $1M.
if you havent read my analysys,
Sale of $250M
profit from sale is $120M
say tax at 30% $36M - $36M
prof after tax $84M
if $84Mdistributed to sharehlders
shareholders pay tax -27.3M
balance 56.7 spend
tax on spendings say - 35 M
from cost $130M
laber wages,material , tax direct and indirect
about $75M
total money goes to tresury of pakistan 173.3M
then the government willing to give $1M to do immage cleAN UP EXCERSISE.
FOR SRILANKA THEY GIVE BUDHA STATUE, meaning go and beg budha for life you idiots.
as far as sinhalese concerened Pakistan donated a million dollar worth budha statue.
but the fools dont realise they charged $250million dollars for that statue. |

What is going on now in SL is not really surprising for many people that I know. And they have a plan cut out. So far so good.
India would never ever tolerate a partition of countries on ethnic/religious lines in South Asia.
India would never ever tolerate a politcal dispensation in India's neighbourhood with Prabhakaran and Pottu Amman at the top.
India would never ever tolerate a discrimination against minorities in its neighbourhood. |

Pakistan finanzing something out of Pakistan ????
What a irresponsible government !!
People are dying in Pakistan and Musharef want to finanze a computer centre. Seriously i feel pity for this innocant people who live under such irresponible governmet.
Sri lanka is much more developped than Pakistan !
Pakistan can finanze a computer centre in Sri lanka, because they received a lot of money of GOSL who bought a lot of weapons to Pakistan.. It is the benefit of the deal.
Now offering this center, Pakistan is waiting another list of commands.
Who is too much stupid and blind to don't see that ??

I forgot the Indian part of your question.
India went to war with China for Tibet and Dalai Lama. Dalai Lama is still the state guest of India.
Doesn't everyone know that it is the India-chinese factor which is driving primarily the geo-strategic equations in Asia and world in general these days. For India, this is even a loger fight.
On side note: In China, there is no ethnic or racial discrimination. The problem there is individual freedom. |
