I feel responsible for not being there for those kids when they were screaming for help. They were too young to know any politics.
I have seen many violant scenes before. But the pictures you see is from medieval times.
Life changes in a minute some times.
You better pray this was done by LTTE (which is quite possible). Because if it is not, this might be a new turn in the story.

I guess about these killings is that it had been committed by the 'Intelligence' to discredit the other party
We can only speculate. If the GoSL is interested in finding the real killers, it can ask an independent panel of lawyers from all communities or an outsider and not our police to investigate it.
You know that the rape and murder of a woman was initially blamed on LTTE as usual, then, after some botched up investigation it was alleged that she was 'serving' SL seamen. Still no one knows the outcome of that 'investigation'.The same thing happened with the murder of the family of 9 with two children. That's why EU insisted that the Govt does PROPER investigation and punish the offenders. I do not think the Govt is in a position to do the right thing.
The army, police and navy are certain they have impunity from any murder or rape.

Being a military man, you should be able to visualise the real situation.
I have seen pictures of tmils hanging dead to lamp posts as far back in 1980s because of the simple reason of helping GOSL.
Even recently 2 year old baby died, for what reason. What kind of politics he knew.
These two kids hanging by ropes are equally pathetic.
I blame India and the International community. India is responsible for initiatting this. India knows that 2/3rds of the tamils live in the south. India can help us get rid of VElu and the gang the same way they got rid of Bhirendraval and his gang in Amrithsar. Punjab problem was massive than this.
So, India also have this blood in their hands.
Besides, If LTTE won't theyu can spend this money spent for violence use for economic development of tamils. Instead this coolie tamils in overseas countries, don't care about their relatives getting killed. they just talk rhetorics.
These are not politics just criminal mentality. they try to justify criminal acts with politics. |
