vini, AnuD, Galleduke, saman34 and other extremists,
This heinous rape and murders happened in the GoSL controlled area. As vinivida says why cannot the GoSL properly investigate (NOT by the police or IGP) to find the real killers?
Any human with less than average intelligence knows why.
Does it not remind you what happened to Krishanti and her family in Jaffna? To the benefit of young members, Krishanti was raped and murdered by the SLA, when her family members and neighbour went to the SLA camp to inquire about her whereabout all of the them were also murdered and buried.
If those mad dogs (vini's phrase) or those like them were put in jail this would NOT have happened.

The army is an entity of the GOSL and her country and they cannot do wrong unless its been ordered by the government.

With all due respect to your knowledge, I have point out to you that immediately or within a month to be precise after the Geneva talks Gen. Fonseka acted against the will, may be due to othe motivations by undesirable elements with in the polity of this country, of the President.
The Geneva talks had clear arrangements and agreements to abide by and the General is culpable of in subordination of the Commander in Chief who is the President.
SL Military in the war theatre or any other place has it's own motivations that is encouraged by racial politics and racial means.

It is a tragedy that incidents like that of Krisanthi happened. The case has been investigated and the culprits brought to justice.
Yes all these incidents are happening in GOSL controlled areas because there is freedom of movement - even for brutal killers.
I agree with you that these incidents should be thoroughly investigated. Modern methods like DNA would be able to help.
What creates doubt is the so called 'clues' left at the site of the crime. These include SL army insignia etc.
Seems very similar to the case of the girl killed and dumped into the well together with a SL navy mans cap.
All signs of planting of 'evidence'.
Taking all the cases of known LTTE crimes, is there even one instance where they have claimed responsibilty. |

It is shame on the SLAF and the SL Govt. they should be brought before justice. The Forces are to serve the nation and its people, but in SL vise versa The Forces are to kill people and sell the nation. 'The Tsunami is better than the SLAF'.

Proper investigation , a MUST, but not by police or IGP.
As you say Krishanti's case was investigated and prosecuted because of the hard work Kumar Ponnampalam put in, but, that man was murdered by PA Govt. hired killer. This is SL justice.
When SLA commit crimes it also leaves cynide capsules to incriminate LTTE.
All these crimes can be eliminated if the GoSL insists on law and order. SLA has rearmed EPDP and PLOTE in addition to assissting Karuna. All these groups are committing crimes and SLA can shift the blame on any of these groups. That's why SLG must disarm all these groups as agreed in CFA and GEneva I.
We all must listen to SLMM , please read its report, it points the finger at SLG, SLA, SLN and LTTE.

I guess people who sit here and point fingers at GOSL/LTTE have no idea what's really going on but just blaming one another just cos they want to stand by their own race. I can see sheer stupidity all over by reading some of these comments...shows how much each of us are racist. The truth is no one knows who kills who anymore - SL politics and terrorism have made us all ignorant chatterboxes - thats all. That should be clear by now to all of us.
Wake up and do something for the country, not just blabber about your own race here! It's appalling.

On Krishanti' rape and murder,
The case has been investigated and the culprits brought to justice.
According to Corporal Rajapakse, one of the convicted, juniors carried out the orders from his superiors. The superiors were responsible for the rape and murders but are promoted to higher ranks and one was posted overseas as an High Commissioner.
Convict Rajapakse also confessed that 400 of the 700 disappreared in Jaffna were murdered and buried in Chemmani grave. But the SLA delayed excuming the graves by 3 months so that during that time all except 9 bodies were burnt. The trial of Rajapakse still pending because the truths will expose not only SLA but also the SLG.
This is how GoSL administers justice to the minorities and its supporters are paid handsomely to do propaganda like fabrigated birthday for Duvaraka and foreign studies. This way these hardliners divert attention from the real killings in Northeast. They write miles and miles of lines just to keep the lies buried just like the disappeared buried in Chemmani.
So the culprits are not yet brought to justice. |
