The SLA is notorious for these kind of rape and murder. It's probably part of their training it seems.
The LTTE should capture these savages, cut off their Johnsons with a blunt blade and then put a bullet in their heads.. This way the SLA will think twice before raping any Tamil women..
If they need it so badly, just go south, I hear their women are all truck stops. |

The recent raped and killings by the LTTE further justifies they have no respect for womanhood as we talk in a patriachial society. It is abominable and we must not let this cowardice Butchers to dictate terms.
Ltte should be anhilated at all cost or the innocent anti tiger tamils will be victims of a growing violence.

To all those (Thoththa Babas) who are trying to whitewash these criminals as war heroes and freedom fighters.
Does it matter who did it this time? We all know both parties are capable of doing this type of heinous crimes. That is what they have been doing and that is what they will do. This is not real war.
Can any of you open your mouth and say 'No LTTE or GOSL has never done this type of crimes?'
What you are doing here is whitewashing these animals. Exactly what they wanted. Instead we all should condemn this kind of unspeakable crimes.
Both sides claim they have MBRLS, this, and that so why not bomb the hell out of each other sparing the civilians?

Thanks Saman, when dogs bark and try to bite humans, the humans in return don't bark and bite the dogs. Though I am a born catholic I learnt lot of Buddhism and Lord Buddha has showed lot of ways to tame these type of lunatics and we must adhere to them.
The cowardice acts by the LTTEs are conspicuous and the lame supporters have no answer than saying the same old rhetoric which is 'ARMY' everything this and that. The army is an entity of the GOSL and her country and they cannot do wrong unless its been ordered by the government. Whereas the shameless, gutless, brainless tiger thugs have no law or compassion in a civilized world to respect humans as humans.

This is obviously a intimacyual crime that has escalated into a political nightmare for the GOSL.
It is very possible that the same soldiers who were on patrol, checking the credentials of the residents of that village, came back to rape a woman that they thought was good looking. It is entirely possible that there are one or two rapists in the Sri Lankan Armed Forces, just like you'd find them in the American army or the Iranian Army. It is some thing unique to the individual, and it does not mean its the policy of the GOSL armed forces to rape mothers and murder their little children.
Where our government has failed miserably, is to pin the blame on the individual for a intimacyual crime. As always, the knee jerk reaction is to blame the LTTE and protect its own. Poor thinking. If the goverment had reacted quickly and arrested the soldiers responsible (the entire camp will knwo who did it), it would;
1) send a very good message out to the IC that the GOSL is acting like a government should,
2) send a strong message to the few thugs and rapists in the armed forces that they cannot tarnish the good name of the SL armed forces and hope to get away without punishment
3) restore some local confidence in the government and ensure that the public in conflict areas don't hate the SL armed forces and support the LTTE
The LTTE has gained from the government's poorly thought response to what was a horrible crime committed by one or two individuals in their private capacity.
The government's response should have been that Sri Lanka doesn't tolerate such ghastly treatment of women or children, be they Tamil or Sinhalese. |

The LTTE have never intimacyually assaulted anyone. Their administration is world reknown for having the least amount of rape, intimacyual assault crimes.. A woman can even walk alone at midnight in LTTE controlled areas without thinking twice about her safety.
Can we say the same about SLA or even the south in general?? |

All those who have followed the conflict know that the LTTE carries out brutal killings to terrorise people into submission. They also carry out killings to incite or provoke ethnic backlash and rioting. They also carry out cynical killings to gain the sympathy of the international community or 'favorable' media coverage.
All these cases are well recorded.
Recent examples are the killing of a 12 year old for not joining the baby brigades, the public execution of a husband and wife in LTTE controlled Mutur for not joining training, the bomb in Trincomalee market place, the massacre at Welikanda etc.
In past history there are also the killings of Sri Sabarattinam and all his cadres, Uma Maheswaran, Amirthalingam, Sivasithamparam, Thiruchelvam etc etc.
The family in Thomaspura had been warned by the LTTE not to cooperate with the authorities.
They were butchered by the LTTE to teach them and the other villagers a lesson.
WE the LTTE, ARE the SOLE representative and interlocutor of the TAMIL people!
The poor tamil people - have pity on their plight. |
