Yeah go separate do everyone a favor. You lot cant integrate with anyone. Wanni (jungle) mentality. Cant live with the eastern tamils, cant live with the southern tamils, cant live with the hill country tamils and cant live with the tamil nadu tamils either. Trample on everyone for your own selfish needs. Cant share with anyone and cant live with anyone. Take your cyanide pills.
You better hope MR doesnt implement devolution not IGSA.
This is how exactly the people who are feeling suicidal talks.

Peace is a dream. It will never happen. Singhalese and tamils will never compromise. Moderates on both sides never rallied around to help the IC to put pressure on GOSL or LTTE.
I personaly feel all this peace, talks, etc wont work. Heart of heart the two communities dont rally around their leaders when they take bold steps to compromise.
You cant blame MR or VP. WE have to take responsibility for the failure of this peace process |

You are living overseas. You can oneday tell Tamilnadu is oyour homeland. WE can not say that.
So, some how we have to finish it. If any tamils want to live with us in peace they are welcome. Others, just like you can live overseas.
You can involve with us to develop the country and share it. Otherwise, just dream. |

This advisory council will be assisted by a legal team assigned by the President and the final framework will be presented to the LTTE later as a government proposal.
This indicates that the President in not including the Tamils in the National level thinking but is instructing. In other words he already has divided the country in his mind.

Govts in colombo have had many APCs after every elections and we never had a solution put forward agreeable by all political parties for the last how many years!
Here again we are talking about a new model! Will this take us for another 6 years to the next election..
Waste of time...all parties in the south will never reach an agreement and this is history. |

Just cos i live abroad it doesnt mean I DONT WANT peace in SL or dont want SL to prosper. I come to SL practically twice a year ever since i left home about 17 years. I have lot of singhalese and tamil friends even from jaffna. I know singhalese friends who lost people in central bomb blast and i know tamil friends whoes lives have been wiped out by sri lankan forces. I also know a family who has lost their father, husband as a soldier in the front line. I know how they find life so difficult to live there due to this WAR. I also know a fried of mine who used to play cricket with me in my road in colombo who joined the LTTE and died. I have my parents there etc. So for me i know the first hand experience of war. Which is why I am dead against war. I have said it before i have been a refugee twice via 77 and 83 riots
I lived in Singapore for most part of my life. Even though i lived in several western countries no country made me more patriotic towards sri lanka like Singapore did. Thats where i stopped thinking as a tamil but as a sri lankan. I saw how we lost out lock stock and barrel. For me the two great leaders in this world are Nelson mandella and Lee Kuwan Yew. I dont think the world will see leaders like that in a hurry again. These two men are rare breed.
Living in Canada, US, UK, Australia makes you think as a tamil or singhalese. NEVER as a sri lankan. One has to live in a country like Singapore or Asian cities. I cant explain but its different.
Anyway to cut a long story short personaly i am quite disappointed that this country is satisfied to keep losing its potential everyday. Singhalese perspective of being sri lankan and tamil perspective of being sri lankan are different.
Then when you come and follow this message board it only makes it worse. Its all about butchery, insults and rancour. Nothing positive and nothing to look forward to other than misery and blame on each other.

So Gaja, please tell me where it says there is no tamil included. It says a proposal will be submitted to the LTTE. How did you come to that conclusion and please explain your logic. |
