What we have to appreciate and admire is their methods and will, not to giving into terrorists demands.
So long as they kill Iraqis and Afghanistanians you can praise them. They have bombed more than 20 countries since WW2 and everyday 100s of Iragi civilians are butchered subsequest to their illegal invasion of that country that too without UN Security Council approval. US also support Isreal, the SL's arms supplier, which established its illegal regime on Palestinians' soil by dumping them in refuge camps and violated more than 22 UN resolutions.
No wonder you support US as your terrorist army and Navy too occupy civilians' homes by dumbing the inmates in camps.
However, it is different in that country everybody is equal and administration must be transparent and accountable whereas in Srin Lanka the army can go on killing civilians without any investigation as the US spokesman pointed out. |

You claim on one hand Saleem is hiding behind a Tamil name (as Mr.Kadirkamar did.) On the other hand you want him to state his ethnicity and imply in your posting to Tigress19 that you are prepared to belive his word.
That is on first part you accuse him of dishonesty and on the second you state you are ready to believe him. Not only you are naive but also contradict yourself. |

Majority of tamils want peac,of course.But not at any price.
The tamils wants peace,so that they could live with honour,dignity and security.For that, first the racist sinhala politicians and the racist sinhala public should change their present attitudes towards the tamils,treat them as equal, as Donald Camp says,and not try to subjugate and enslave them.Unless the sinhalese public and the politicions do that, there will not be any peace. There is no point in barking about LTTE in this forum. It will not change any thing,instead it will only harden the resolve and the determination of the tamil people to be free |

| What ever US says or do,it does it, for their own interest.They will shout from the top of their voice about democracy, but they are the worst violaters of democracy.They have been propinng up and supporting dictators all over the world as long as the dictators serve them faithfully.They created Sadam hussain,Bin Laden and they served them faithfully for certain period and then turned on the americans.To 'safeguard the democracy' from the 'tyrany' of communism, they proped up so many dictators.They have neither any moral nor right to talk about 'terrorism'. |

Donlad Camp at least indirectly axknowledge that the GOSL is begind the killing of Zamil Civillians.

Correction here. Proud GOSL and SLA would be at the services of all communities to solve their issues through dialog. Whoever prescribes or implements the solution, when the dust settles, Tamils, sinahalaas and all others will be standing next to each other, every passing day.
No one must be allowed to kill SLA troops serving and protecting all communities, and come up with BOGUS 'issues'.
Those criminals must be hunted down and brought to justice, regardless of their ethnicity. If the task is difficult, those criminals must be made to eat each other out spilling their red hot blood... by hook or crook.
That will DILUTE the very 'justification' they put forward to kill the proud troops.
Tamil civilians, you have a way out to avoid casualties. Round up the LTTE mad dogs and force them to leave. If they don't just kill them on the spot.

The europeans are not as stupid as the americans. The americans are not very popular in europe at the moment because of the Iraq war and the europeans are well known for their balanced and sensible view of conflicts in other countries.It is the opposite of the gung-ho attitude of the americans.The americans are confusing the terrorism they are fighting with the liberation struggle of the tamils.
As soon as the EU bans the LTTE the SLMM will lose all credibility with the LTTE. The SLMMs position will become untenable.That will surely mean all out war. It is therefore really stupid of the americans to call for the EU to ban the LTTE.
