(I wrote this posting for other thread, but I paste it here to see what I am really thinking.)

I cannot speak for every Tamil in this forum, but naturally we all really tire of the fact that Tamil could not reach for any reasonable settlement so far. I do not feel that LTTE is obstacle for reasonable settlement. If they are not around here, SL Sinhalese government could have bought our Tamil politicians for small price and we would have settled for nothing.

LTTE's demands are reasonable. They are playing a very old political game. When we were studying in school, we always aimed for 100% for each subject and finally we would settle for less than that. You should ask initially rights of managing our land, education, police, financial, sea and air travel, and foreign investment. Then GoSL, if it can curve Sinhalese extremists, might ask LTTE whether it can give up managing rights of sea and air travel.

We all know that GoSL feeding paramilitary activities for long, it has been going on even before Karuna comes to the scene. Tigers just asked GoSL to end the paramilitary activities and it refused to so. Then LTTE asked GoSL to remove high-security zones to initiate re-settlement of internal displaced peoples and GoSL refused to so. Then LTTE asked to come up with reasonable settle for sharing Tsunami funds, and again GoSL could not come up with anything. I can go on and on, but I will stop since you will understand where I am leading you.

It is easy to blame an ethnic group that took the weapons in its hands to resolve political question. Who will blame GoSL and its atrocity toward Tamils.

Please visit the 'Tamilnet' website to see what GoSL and it thugs did to innocent Tamil people (May 14).

No cause, issue, problem, grievance justifies killing of proud security forces.

That is FAKE, my pal. The criminals must be brought to justice at any cost... and good news is that it's happening.

We will not get mad... we will get even, regardless of the price and time.

In the months of June/July the SLMM should be sent home..

The LTTE should start the final war (and make sure it really is the final war) and liberate as much of the NE as possible.. It probably won't be possible to liberate all of TE from the GOSL, but whatever we liberate we should hold, and we should accept that reality.
The tigers should also take out some of the main economic targets in the south and cripple the GOSL, then declare a CF and call for talks..
If that doesn't work (it won't work), a UDI should be announced to the whole world.. as tamilcanuck pointed out most countries won't accept the UDI intially (and India will do it's very best to sabotage us).. but we should build up enough power, money and resources to keep going without any outside help..
If we can hold our territory and carry out a decent civil administration for a number of years, some countries that are sympathetic towards the tamils will accept our UDI.. once enough countries recognize us, UN will have to accept.

The LTTE should start the final liberation effort, once everything that is required for the long haul is ready.

Tamilcanuck

the 4th is what the LTTE is working on. UN recognition comes after this.

The recognition is already there, as a terrorist organisation. Soon EU and other countries will recognise LTTE as a terrorist organisation, more than you can imagine. Have no fear of recognition mate.

Lol GOSL rejecting doesn't mean anything to reality whatsoever... kanthun LTTE will liberate a significant percentage of territory in the coming war they might not have the capacity to hold on for long periods of time due to manpower limitations but theyve changed the war machine to fight a short war of multiple decisive victories on multipole fronts and then the IC will force a CF and Colombo will accept having got creamed ruthlessly in the battle and the from there the LTTE will replicate nation building all over the new territory and claim a separate country...

Kanthun, the warrior,

Hey, you have it all planned out eh? What remains is the implementation. But your plan has a lot of holes. I will not tell you everything but one.

Only thing right about your plan is the Indian factor. Even there you have reduced their role to just sabotage. Great thinking.

As for recognition, very soon all the key board tigers overseas will have to either shut up or pack up if the LTTE continues to anatagonise their ever shrinking no. of supportive countries. May be Bala also will have to decide between his British passport and job as LTTE ideologue.

June, July will be probably be the right time for things to begin unravelling for the LTTE. Instead of asking Norway to quit, you will probably have to fall on their feet.

I abhor violence as a method to achieve 'liberation' for me and my family. So, I am a happy 'poor' guy. I will never want to be a 'rich' murderer with blood on my hands.
NEVER.

You do that, if that's your choice.
