Karuna is threatened by LTTE. In the middle of that, GOSL should not disarm karuna.

Besides everything, Even India asked both the GOSL and LTTE move beyond KAruna.

SO, this article is just useless, just to raise contraversy.

LTTE will only use the transport when its the right time to use it! At the moment they dont wanna meet the Eastern leaders! When the need arises they'll surprise all saying they r committed to peace! Prbha is drafting a master plan till then!

LTTE vows to invade GOSL areas and get rid of KAruna caders.

Get ready every body.

COLOMBO (Reuters) - Sri Lanka's Tamil Tigers have vowed to raid government territory to kill former comrades they say are attacking their fighters with the help of the military, warning peace talks are off until those renegade attacks stop.

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) are locked in a low intensity conflict with the military that threatens to rupture a 2002 truce and rekindle a two-decade civil war. They want the government to disarm a breakaway faction led by a former rebel commander called Karuna.

Looks like it is sinhalese, karuna with out any substancial fighting power has convinced the SL govt that he is useful to them in defeating LTTE. By doing this he is enjoying VIP treatment from SL govt.

Hallucinated one like you never will remember that mighty LTTE wanted Karuna to be disarmed. They used CFA for that.

To kill, innocent people like Kadir, LTTE did not want CFA.
That is how LTTE is.

AEIOU:

I understand your point. I agree with you. actually,I imagined it.

Because, LTTE's motto is 'USE CFA AND THE WAR TO WIN EELAM'.

What we need is unity in promoting democracy. Govt forces killing innocent tamils is as bad as LTTE killing innocent sinhalese. Too much power on the hands of LTTE/SL forces is bad for democracy

Agreed. For a start, how about LG elections in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts and in the North? Will the LG elections scheuled for the 20th take place in Batti and Ampara? Will that be followed by elections in the North?
