Major,
The Government itself was scared and took you off only after 10 days of your services in Colombo after LK murder.
Prison job, to deal with common criminals, is not for solders of your caliber.
If you are to accept anything from this Government, call for a special post to clean the forces and the administration of all unwanted elements.
I am aware you are not yet old enough to retire from active services and I am also sure you will relish a more challenging assignment.
Wish all the best in your future endeavors. |

Good luck Maj. Gen.
You've got to start somewhere & this is that second innings.
In what poisition you bat is immaterial but the runs you get to swell the score is important to the country.
No better person for this appointment. |
