Bongs,
I agree with your opinion.
Bevis' is not an opinion, it is a fact. You don't agree with facts, only with opinions.
That's where you err, my wise friend on the mount.
If Bevis was travelling on a fast moving train and he displays his pinkie, the physically observable fact depends on where one is. If I were in the carriage with him and you were on the embankment outside, I would see nothing much to write home about, but you would see an elongation that would etch the reputation of the B clan in SL folk lore for generations to come. We can only agree on the fact we observe if we are in the same place at the same time. Facts can be different things to different people.
Come to think of it, it's quite possible, good ole' Thilagam Anna, when he has had one too many, saw ole' Bevis in a fast moving rocketship to scare the bejeesus out of him. Now there's only wailing and gnashing of teeth in the wilderness, living as a hermit avoiding all human contact on LNP.

HGGB,
Once again you have propounded a theory, a very interesting one though. The images of a moving train, beautiful scenery and other things come to my mind.

Now this is a fact. I agree with you for the second time :)) |

Hey GeeBees,
Now that the thread has died down, let me throw a few stones into the nest, for the heck of it for some debate/argument, to kill time.
and me personally do not like generalizing
What exact specifics do you want to talk about?
As a woman I am grateful to the freedom that I have here to be the person i want to be, in return to make a difference in someone else's life.
This is why I didn't answer you, because after that there is hardly anything one can say.
It's like one of Bongs' g'friends saying that Bongs treats her very well. Who can dispute that? As far as she is concerned Bongs is the best man that ever walked the face of the earth. All one can say to that is Amen! Hallelujah!
I try to disassociate my own situation/condition as much as possible to maintain some element of objectivity. I don't feel particularly grateful to any place I have lived in, they need what we have, and one pays very high taxes for the privilege. Nothing is for free, or out of benevolence.
Here's a piece I feel is closer to the truth, you may not agree.

The president of Columbia, Lee Bollinger, disgraced himself. Instead of introducing his invited guest speaker, he launched a tirade of abuse and insults. Obviously, he was in hot water with some of Columbia's big donors for inviting Ahmadinejad and chose that petty, shabby way of trying to ingratiate himself to the school's angry sugar daddies. All Bollinger succeeded in doing was making Ahmadinejad look good in comparison with him.
Another one,

My girlfriends sya that but wife disagrees :((
One of the reason for the slow progress of this thread is the absence of Guru.
I hope he returns with a bang!

Allo,
What exact specifics do you want to talk about?
AS Maity said,,
World is not based on the justice or equal rights. it is all about greediness and no regard to others . America, Russia, UK, China,France, Germany, India, Pakistan etc.
The whole world has become a irreversible mess . All these so called power players have veto and other influences, according to their own selfish needs they exploit the troubled nations own problems.
Allo, I get your point on Truth is a Truth. I am a firm believer on that too. What about the truth about China which has worse human rights violations on its own people.
To me, it's matter of picking the 'Bonggo' you are comforatble with. Don't get me wrong I am still a feminist!
Oh c'mon you'll do the same, who would you rather be with lover boy? Ruwani ,Plutes or Penn :))(I put you on the spot)
Lets' talk about 2008 elections, haven't picked one yet..let me pick your brain on that!

Hey GeeBees,

Why choose? I'll have all three, ideally Ruwani in the middle, to keep things on an even keel!
I have this recurring nightmare that I'm in possession of a gigantic phallic monstrosity - one that would make Bevis, Bongs or any other B run and hide in Matara in terror - that would impale every woman dead, alive, still unborn. Sweet dreams are made of these! That's what I tell my shrink every time. Anyway let the bastard try and unravel that one to earn some of his keep. Hope Bongs wont jump off the balcony now.
picking the 'Bonggo' you are comforatble with
Dunno about comfort, but the two most attractive women to me are Margaret Thatcher and Serena Williams. It's sort of battle of the sexes, two women I would like to conquer most. Both capable of grinding my nuts into bull dust and blowing in my face, one intellectually and the other physically. Who the bloody hell wants to climb Mount Everest? When I tell that to my shrink he doesn't know if he wants to live or die. That is the question. Hope ole' AnuD doesn't read this, the bloke has a habit of confusing fantasy and reality. Don't wanna him going around pulverizing his nuts.
Speaking of good ole' Ru, yep, she has a mild element of intrigue but in a very crude, confused very SL sort of way. That's all what bare-back horse ridding is about! The gal is still young, with time she'll finesse her strengths, then Lankan guys better watchout. And that's a compliment. Hope she is not offended.
Now, would you believe if I tell you I've never been unfaithful?
Aw.....yeah.... politics! We'll talk about that later.
Been reading too much Anaïs Nin, lately.

Aw..... Bongs, it's the g'friends you gotta worry about, the ole' wife has no option but to be satisfied.
the absence of Guru.
Yep... we all miss the guy, hope he is well and out of mischief.
Not forgetting Thilagam Annan as well.
Yeah... what's with him these days?
Would like to see him back. It seems he's a bit of a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, to me he brings out the best when he is drunk but some others felt offended - rightly so, I suppose. Anyway hope he chooses one or the other and stay permanently drunk or sober. |
