I find the best cure for these kinds of thoughts is to read the bible seven times a day. If you don't believe me just ask Penn. She buys religious books all the time.
Anyway to get back to the devil's music. I find that the bass on 'Truth' is pretty good, comes through my tube amps pretty well. I wonder why he gave up the bass, he seems a pretty good player. So is the drummer. I am listening to Sam Cooke, pretty innovative guy.
What I plan to do is, put together a collection of vintage band equipment, amps, speaker units, guitars, drums etc. Any suggestions you can make are welcome. Sort of Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, kinda stuff. Ever heard of Danelectro, it was a cheap guitar but has a unique sound. I am more interested in brands that have disappeared like, Vox, Ludwig etc. What happened to Paiste Cymbals, I see another brad these days, Zildjian or some such? |
