[How come my login name is still activated even when I logout?]
Thilgam anna,
its because of a cookie!. when you log in a cookie with your password is saved on your PC and when you visit the page again later on the cookie logs you in.
if you on a personal PC this isnt a big issue but if youre on a PUBLIC pc then it is.
depending on the browser youre using you can go and remeove all the cookies.
If youre on IE (Its always better to move away from IE to something like Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ ]
go to ---tools--- internet options and under the gen tab delete cookies and also can clear history
if youre on firefox go to tools---options--privacy--show cookies and delete them once toure finished with your current session.

HGB,
Jeffrey is no relation of mine but I love his works, especially the parliament building.
Bonggo,
Sorry for the delay in getting to it, but I always meant to ask you this.
It's pretty interesting that you would say this as the parliament building for me was one of his greatest disappointments. Not the building per se but as an embodiment of indigenous vernacular architecture. To me it looks more like Japanese or south-east Asian architecture. I haven't read anything about it, only seen it from outside. Do you know if it represents anything of the Anuradhapura period; I forget the name but the ruins with many columns (which is a possibility with all those columns?) HGB,
Twice We drove through your home town Kurunagala ( if I am not mistaken.)
You are not mistaken and certainly you would have seen our place as its on the main road.....oh nothing fancy like Ruwani's mansion :(:(
ML,
I am sure I would have passed your home. I guess it is pretty big to house all those Tannoys!
I've been photographing many old houses in SL, just to retain some documentary evidence of old architecture; was fortunate to visit some lovely places.

I suppose Veblen wrote his thesis 'Conspicuous Consumption' on the Gunasekeras of Mount Lavinia. |
