girls nowadays in SL will put more emphasis on building up their careers and insist on more sharing of domestic responsibilities with the husband than in previous generations.
thats definitely a good thing. the first part i mean!! i aint a good cook but do all the other stuff around the house. I cook a mean omelette with thin sliced onions, green chillies and serve it with lots of love! |

Yes women are suppressed of speech, which leads to many issues. Because our culture is such, but of course you have to know when to zip it up ,have to be lady like when needed :-)
Few exceptions.. but there are also educated fools who don't want their wives to speak out or explore all they want is to cook and clean which leads to depression and domestic violence.

hec yeah! not only only girls in SL,SL girls every where.I went to college for nothing plus its not anymore gender factor. boiled down to 'can you do it', 'are you willing to try'. I hate when ppl categorized it's man job, woman jobs. |

let me give you another angle on this and you can confirm this.
when living away from home during UNI days most guys have the saem room mates till they graduate while gals do not, generally speaking.
Most of my friends(from Gr1 and BEFORE!) had love marriages so we knew the Gals before hand. one of the worrying aspects was that what marriage would to do to our friendship.
a few went the arranged marriage way and among them One buddy doesnt come for all gatherings!! the rest of the wives also dont seem to take a liking to this gal. so in essence we have lost him!
apart from all the macho stuff guys do its the wives who 'control' a lot after marriage. i say 'control' very loosely and not in the strictest sense of the word. the women also seem to do a bigger share at home so we also have to listen to them. so if she happens to not like the company one keeps then you dont really have a choice.

what marriage would to do to our friendship.
well I figured that when I got married, they were all so reserved and way too polite and I was going what hec!may be they were taking precaution..lol. well matter of days everything went Topsy turvy.
I guess I must doing an Ok job all my hubby's friends are in my house it like an open door policy.I do entertain them ,leave them alone. but its true they talk about old days as few go back to St John days and I know he enjoys the company.well good escape for me too :-0)
she happens to not like the company one keeps then you dont really have a choice
well its sad by I guess true, for I have witnessed few.I wonder why. |

many guys become second fiddle to wives at home
I think its jealousy and competition that leads to these kind of issues.I have two couples who have issues, one is a show off other one knows everything
they only visit my home as I play dumb and stupid. bottom line I don't loose anything at least those guys are having a good time, the irony is the spouses know exactly what I am doing, which is sad.
