Raves,
Agree with TCk on the accountancy background. Wifey was in accounting back in SL and she found an ok job when we lived in Toronto.
Do you reside in the States?? If so, the chances of anyone finding a job in their profession is much better than in Canada.
Of course the chances for doctors are also improving in Canada now. I guess they are sort of waking up to the fact that long waiting periods in hospitals can be solved by easing the way for all the qualified foreign doctors to reenter their profession instead of having them working at assembly plants!!
I don't have any tamil female friends in SL, but I am willing to bet that a lot of young Sri Lankan women can surprise you with their rather non-traditional views!! |

Penn,

You are absoluteky right. This issue alone has kept millions of families together.
Couch becomes an issue if one spouse started sleeping on it! |

Raves,
I agreed on that. Western frenzy is everywhere
I don't necessarily mean in a negative way. For example in my opinion, girls nowadays in SL will put more emphasis on building up their careers and insist on more sharing of domestic responsibilities with the husband than in previous generations.
Good Luck in your 'Search' :))Don't be in a hurry to choose, and when you do, make sure YOU are happy with your decision and not your parents (Personal experience speaking, LOL) |

Gang,
some very good points raised.
personally i like a woman who will give her opinion back. when i met my wife
she was very timid or kind of shy to express her views. early on i let it know that i
wanted someone who spoke back.
well now she speaks and i listen!
seriously having another opinion is much better having just one.
plus women nowadays seem to run the whole show. good for them and EVEN better
for me. one less worry but if she ever leaves me i am gonna be really -removed-ed here!!
all this talk reminds me of the folloing quote
during the first yr of marriage the man talks and women listens,
during the seciond yr the woeman talks and the man listens,
during the following yrs both the man and women talk while the
neighbours listen! |
