Have you ever heard of a XC90??
Thilagam anna,
infact a buddy of mine has had for a couple of yrs. have driven it numerous times. He has the 7 passenger model T6 model but ONLY kids are comfortable back there PLUS once these seats are occupied the TRUNK becomes VERY VERY small!
Volvo makes very good cars IMHO. You cant go wrong.
i think the XC stands for (A)Cross Country!
Dont know whether DR A has gone to Lanka. |

Thilagam Annan,
OK..IN CASE you are not another Fake handle or too drunk...
I know you are a vegeterian and dont drink alcohol, I respect you and others who are like you.,
I don't drink alcohol because I don't like the taste....BUT I am not a Vegeterian...one day I'll come to Sweden and EAT YOU...Promise!!
As because you are in Sweden does not matter you are at the university or doing Phd's, some people who have been living in Sweden in dificult conditions who does not want others to know their real life kept on lying especially on this LNP.
Well! I have seen many of these people who lies,in reality some of them are working in normal lifes! but they want to boast about them selfs as because they are in Sweden!!
Nothing great about the Nordic Skies like people discribes!
People who wants to discribe about Nordic skies are infact has no place to go!! Poor these soles who are behind in supporting who ever superior to them!
I feel pitty for these creatures!!
Who ever lives in the west coast( in Sweden),please refrain from all your nonsence.
Try to be like when you came from SL, dont butter people to get sympathy!
I have seen people like you, you make me sick!!

We did Sigiriya. Some Lankans (my sis and BIL's friends) who were with us didn't have any SL documents so they were charged Rs2100 each while the others were charged Rs20. So if you ever go there make sure to carry some SL documents.
Thanks to Ruwani's hype we ended up in Kandalama. After one day you get bored stiff, nothing much to do other than stare back at the damn monkeys. The location is just beautiful, I am not too sure about the hotel though. Hope I wont rile ole' Bonggo if Jeffery is any relation of his. But he did some good stuff; De Sarem house was a beaut. There's a Frank Lloyd Wright house called 'Falling Water' that Americans go ga ga about. But as Sigiriya shows, old Kasshepa and his architects had incorporated nature into buildings thousands of years before.
We took so many wrong roads to Kandalama, now I am in a position to give directions. The best road is the one few meters before the turn off to Sigiriya. It's called Swiss something, and there is a board. It's the shortest and the least pot-holed, and you come on to the lake bund from a depression, the sight is unbelievable. It's a pity that there are all these hotels but the access roads are pure nightmares. The Tea Factory is even worse.
The most poignant thing I saw was soldiers bunkered along the main road a little beyond the Sigiriya turn-off. Just two lonely young guys in a bunker. They were in the thick jungle, elephants roaming around. What a way to make a living. We gave them whatever little food we had. Most of my traveling companions were strong Mahinda R admirers, and there were mumblings about what true great heroes these young guys were. Each to his own, I suppose. Most certainly I wont live in those bunkers and wont recommend others do either.
Penn,
I went to Jeya Book Shop, just hopped across from Green Cabin after a Lump-rice and chocolate cake, ahhhhh. They had only about five books on Hinduism for children in English, it's published by a mob called Ananda in India. The one I can remember was titled 'Valiant Heroes,' one of the heroes was Hanuman. I didn't know Hanuman had any significance in religion. What do you want me to do? I can drop them off if any old boyfriends/secret-admirers/nuns are catching planes. Or I can get Jeya BS to post it to you.
ML,
Twice We drove through your home town Kurunagala ( if I am not mistaken.) Could have said Hi to any old girlfriends if I knew their whereabouts.
So if you're travelin' in the north country fair,
Where the winds hit heavy on the borderline,
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
There's a place called Krolle Cottages, they do a mean breakfast, omelettes and all. Ever heard of it?
THILAGAM Anna,
A belated Happy B'day to you! And drive safely. I guess, Volvo is now owned by Ford and Saab by GM. Do they still have some individuality left? The bloody Jaguars are now build on standard Ford chassis with a bit of fancy wood trim and body work. They give a bit of a bogus looks of yore but without the pizazz of the old. |
