Wow, we beat the hell out of Physics by 3 wickets.
Physics were asked to bat and they scored 121 all out in 19.3 (20 overs match). Chemistry scored 124/7 in 18.5 overs most importantly I was there 19 N.O. with 3x4s at the end. Also dismissed a guy caught behind with my medium swing bowling 4-0-25-1.
Chemistry all the way!!

Kamani,
I thought you are taking the girls side so why not me?
Well, I am a player neither captain nor a member of the selection committee dear.
I have been trying to improve my all round performance to play a vital role for Shanika 'cos too much of a competition out there now with Lula and Tck trying to show be the exit door in the fielding positions. I am trying hard to keep my place. I am a supporter of girls in the team. But the chief is after me on my fielding blunders so have no choice than to look after my p's and q's. |

its a big ground Dr A. pick any position other than close to the capt and youre set for day. remember the Capt is a novice by her own admission and i need to be close to stress the important parts, of the game ofcourse. |

Bongo's - Please try and give me the written lyrics of the 'kumbukey linda' song, if possible.
Well Radaw has to be sponsored with all that Gal and Pol too. Now, who will sponsor him being Percy.
TCK, is also talking professional now. That's good. We will partner the open slot with vim, vigour and vitality... the kind of boost needed for the next players. In need a sponsor of my bat macho, could you help, will give you a cut too.
Marky - I need the above, please try writing it for me. Else, my other mates could possibly help.
Ruwani - You do not need to 'ahulanda'. Apey kolla menala gahay, ibayma bolay oyata enda. Somebody has to do the job no. Aney dont refuse. Hope you wear the proper attire for the job. |

Ruwani,
Do not worry-I do not take things you or Suresh anna say too seriously. But since we already have a newspaper 'case' thanks to Mimsie-if Radaw the Investigative journalist/paparazzi gets to know about you/Suresh passing racists comments, I too will be held liable. So please be careful.
Kamani,
sorry for overlooking you. There was a vacancy (Kiwi's post) but we've already signed the contract with ananda95. But do not despair-our selector will be here Saturday morning, and we will see what we can do.
Lula,
you want to be as far away from WK-and I too think that's a good idea for everyone concerned. so what about Deep fine leg or long off ?
Prince,
Every one knows that you can't believe everything you read in newspapers these days so don't get demoralized. besides Radaw mistook me for Ruwani (plebeian me will never be able to afford a Prada handbag that can seriously injure a man) but such is the ways of journalism..... anyway, we need Radaw because when he's not too busy spying on us, he's also our one man cheering squad.
Dr. A,
I am so glad that you are practicing so regualry.... you are a role model to the others-though no one seems to be taking note of that right now, they will, they will......
TC,
be very careful of the selector, a slick operator. don't want too many folks going for scans
Thanks for the advice-but as skipper I need to keep an eye on everyone-even those who practice 'only looking, no touching' policies. I will only exempt Lula (thank god there's at least one guy)and I would have thought Dr. A could be exempted as well, but since of late he has taken to giving serious MBA advice to Ruwani (MBA=married but available) so I have my doubts now.
It was magnanimous of you to have handed over the vice captaincy to Prince-you are a good man, but please remember it's not only the VC but players too should not deal with bookies! and also keep in mind Radaw -the investigative journalist cum paparazzi cum cheer leader. Already his writings have seriously affected Prince and we have the Morale of the team at stake here......
BTW, no need to tell anyone else, but what says your man the bookie?
Don Bonggo,
What do you say about Kamani? I note that Fairplay hasn't come for practices in a few days either. Edited By - shanika - 2 Jun 2006 12:44:31 GMT |

| Well Pals... the match has started and seems to that REAR-GUARD action would be the demand again. Now, counter strategies are more important. As of now 139/8 is the score; kapu has gone to gedera. It all started to collapse since Sangha was given out for rubbing the ball in his thigh pad. As a precaution, I think the captain of our team should avail a couch to practice ball-rubbing techniques. |
