Bro Thilagam,
so no Famouse grouse yesterday(friday)
Well, I think you are getting ready to accept the winter in style with all the decorations etc. Well, I am down with bloody flu and was having hot whiskey treatment but its not as good as I expected. So bit of a quiet weekend I must say not much messing about with my neighbourhood and thanks to HGB & Tck I am thinking serious now after all its willy-nilly no choice.
I have to say that the only consolation is some decent Middle of Road hits on my Akai. So back to intimacyy seventies. Can't live without them. You know Sally Kerr she is one heck of bird. Sang those songs literarily alone. Still seems all alive and kicking. Now here is to you to indulge in a few minutes of it damn 70s. Cannot go beyond with those skimpy black pants.

Do you know what happened to Tony Orlando of Dawn? He must be quite old now. Last time when I head it was back in the 70s or early 80s. Since then I have not heard him singing. |

Penn,
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
How are you dear? Yes, I guess its just part and parcel of the thing. Sometimes mighty disappointing and others ok. Just keep plugging away you know. Sometimes, I wonder whether we can do some supernatural stuff with the chemicals for a change like atom transportations etc. Would have been mighty worth it. Imagine going ourselves to Mars by the atom transportation, hmmmm I leave you to think over.
Now about number crunchers, well, Its bit interesting but I don't think we must be indulging too long on that, its bit like horoscopes when you get too carried away you tend to drift away from main line Chemistry I mean life. That may not be helpful. I know some people believe in horoscopes when get married and vehement on that to be compatible to get married. What do you do if you just fall in love with a Stunner/super blonde bombshell or a crusty brunette who has no compatibility on horoscope? I guess I rather prefer the former than latter.
Life is too short for a horoscope to run the show. I guess HGB, TC and Master will have some say on this too. Over to you chaps!! |

HGB,
Where is this sarswathee lodge? In Mount Lavinia? I haven't a clue where Mount Lavinia is
Mate, Mt Lavinia is where our Ruwani nangi lives with her hubby and the kid. I guess she would most probably give us a free meal when we pop in there.
Being a veggie my self its nice to see Saraswathie Lodge is there so that I can help my self to some Thosai or wadei while looking forward to Ruwani's glass of Shiraz or Port :-) |

Jezzzze DrA, So that's how Mount Lavania got into the topic of conversation in this thread. Oh hell, I thought it was some outer ghetto of C'mbo. If Ru's there, must be some top notch locale. Shall take off my reference to it before she comes on her next bombing run! |

THILAGAM Anna,
A bit disappointed to learn that it's the house decorations that kept you busy, I thought it was a nice Swedish flossie!
I am listening to Willie Nelson's 'Milk Cow Blues' right now, pretty good.
Two others I've listened to recently, Santana's 'Caravanserai' - it's ok.
But this one you should know as a drummer, 'Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles Live' an absolute beaut. I have listened to this in the 70's but had forgotten about. |
