Don Bonggo,
The net session went really well and my swing bowling is improved too. I have two outside edges of the off stump I should be bowling tomorrow hopefully in our departmental match.
I am trying to impress our Lankan captain so I may be little aggresive on Friday. So watch out. Also I am with Prince I thing the captain should make way for sloggers little earlier than 11.
Now we don't see Vim and Kikiwanga coming to net sessions so Chief its up to you to pick the final 11? |

Prince,
i have done by duty and put in my 2 cents. its upto the chairman of the selectors to decide. if youre still not happy we have to try another method
if not you might have to separate and ask for a separate team thats the lankan way! |

Ruwani Nangi,
Maybe I should postpone my studies. If I do so maybe that will be the end of it. I am scared. What do you think ayya?
Yes, its a $64m dollar question. Becuase its mighty hard to concentrate both having a baby and the studies. But if you postpone you might as well call it a day for studies. Because by experience once you close to or hit 30s studies seem long way off from reality. Since you are still in the early 20s try the part-time stint than the FT. You'll have some leeway due to being a young mother so it should not be that hard.
So 'yes' do continue despite some struggle dear as its worth it. After that you'll be free and most of all you have something worthwhile to do in the future of your desire. I guess having an MBA is the gateway to top notch companies like KPMGs? Am I right? |

Tck,
Do you know the fellow called Sritharan Jeganathan who used to play for Blomefield? I admire his fast bowling. Different to Vinothan John. Since I left I never heard anything about him. Did he play for SL? |

Tck,
I have seen the Big Vinothan J and in fact he played quite few test matches if I remember along with Ashantha De Mel and the Spinner D S De Silva (the Nakiya, he played test cricket even when he was bl**dy 40). I am not sure which Jega you are referring to. I am pretty sure he was a paceman when Warnakulasooriya opened for the same club. You may be referring to Karanain then.

I only knew he died a few minutes before you!! 35-45 is the danger yrs for lankan males is my theory. lot of folks just drop dead due to heart failures!! Edited By - tamilcanuck - 31 May 2006 21:27:32 GM |

Now then you are giving me some food for thought too???? I know I am not the most athletic type but I try not to have a protruding belly at least for the time being. Edited By - DrAkai - 31 May 2006 21:38:15 GMT |

Good morning everybody:
As usual there are disagreements regarding selection. The no. 11 position is Murali's, if anyone does not want to be on par with a legend then its ok.
As Kiwikanga did nnot turn up for practice, Prince will take his batting position and Anand will bat at no. 11.
I want to drop Mimsi too for not turning up for practice but there is no one else. TCK the vice captain, do you have any suggestion? By the way you are very good man! Your theory is correct, I will get a chance to build a match saving partnership with the Captain.
Let us have a great Game and beat the English :)
Dr. Akai good luck, have a great outing.
P.S.
Jega died ten years ago and it was today that I got to know! I met him in 1993 and he did not look like a heart patient at all. He was a smoker perhaps that caused it. He was the coach of Malaysian national team too. Yes, he was a spinner. |

And TCK the fielding position you suggesed were great but I am afraid I am not the Captain. Our respected captain decides who is going to field where so we have to rally around her! Edited By - Bonggo - 1 Jun 2006 07:01:22 GMT |
